DAB/DAB+ and wideband FM receiver for RTL2832-based USB sticks
While preparing for a release 4.2 of the sdr-j software package,
we created two new programs
a DAB receiver
a broad spectrum version of the FM receiver
It is quite obvious that one can use a DAB stick to receive DAB
programs. However, the DAB software presented here is a real SDR
in that it uses the 8 bit I/Q samples of the DAB stick.
Raw X11 protocol analyser
From the original README:
Xmon interactively monitors the byte-stream connections between an X
server and a number of X clients. Xmon recognises all requests,
events, errors and replies sent between the clients and the server
which are part of the core X protocol. The contents of these messages
are displayed on standard output at a user settable degree of detail
from none to every bit and byte. Xmon also allows the user to select
a number of requests or events to be monitored at a different degree
of detail. Xmon will also block the transmission of selected requests
from the clients to the server and selected events from the server to
the clients. Xmon also keeps statistics of the number of requests,
events, and errors received.
Motif based FM tuner (for use with bktr(4) driver)
xmradio is a radio tuner program for X11 (using the Motif widget set),
using NetBSD's and FreeBSD's bktr(4) driver.
It also supports Video4Linux because of its design.
You can control an xmradio running on your desktop using some special
command line options and remote control mechanism.

Create an X cursor file from a collection of PNG images
This package contains xcursorgen, a program for creating an X cursor file
from a collection of PNG images.
Module for additional features with X.Org/XFree86 Matrox driver
mga_hal packages the Matrox binary HAL for X.Org/XFree86. It provides dualhead
support for G400 cards (G450 and G550 card do not need this) and TV-out. It
also provides a "Merged Framebuffer" mode that is supposed to allow 3d
acceleration on both heads.

Helper scripts and documentation for the X11 window manager selector
The wmanager-addons package contains a couple of helper shell scripts and
manual pages for the x11/wmanager window manager selector. They were
originally part of the Debian wmanager package, but have later been ported
to other operating systems.
Bitmap editor and converter utilities for X
This package contains bitmap, which is a tool for creating or editing
rectangual images made up of 1's and 0's.
