The OpenGL Extension Wrangler Library (GLEW) is a cross-platform open-source
C/C++ extension loading library. GLEW provides efficient run-time mechanisms
for determining which OpenGL extensions are supported on the target platform.
OpenGL core and extension functionality is exposed in a single header file.
GLEW has been tested on a variety of operating systems, including Windows,
Linux, Mac OS X, FreeBSD, Irix, and Solaris.
This is the linux verson.
Fractal Flames are algorithmically generated images
and animations. The shape of each image is specified
by a long string of numbers - a genetic code of sorts.
You can create your own flames with the Apophysis
interactive designer (for windows), Qosmic (for Linux),
or Oxidizer (for Mac OS X), or Apophysis-J (cross-
platform in Java).
Or you can use the Electric Sheep distributed screen
saver to join the collective evolution of animated
fractal flames.
These icons were converted from the Hobbes OS/2 archive at hobbes.nmsu.edu.
There were over 7000 icons on Hobbes, but many were duplicates.
All duplicates (based on comparing CRC's) have been removed, a suffix of .N
was added when there were name clashes, and any icons with 256 colors were
also deleted. What remained became 3,382 icons which are mostly 32x32
and 16 colors.

GDD is a graphics device for R which uses libgd for creating bitmap output.
Supported output formats are png8, png24, gif and jpeg.
The main purpose of this package is to replace png/jpeg and similar native
devices in R which either rely on X11 or use GhostScript are thus are very slow
and not suitable in server applications. GDD also supports advanced features
such as anti-aliasing of both lines and text.
The purpose of this library is to simplify the creation of computer graphics
software. Specifically, it is targeted towards cross-platform development
using the OpenGL rendering API and the FLTK interface toolkit. It attempts
to provide facilities which are useful in the majority of graphics programs.
This release introduces some (relatively small) incompatible changes with
1.0.x versions of the library. Details on changes can be found below.

Libqrencode is a C library for encoding data in a QR Code symbol, a kind of
2D symbology that can be scanned by handy terminals such as a mobile phone
with CCD. The capacity of QR Code is up to 7000 digits or 4000 characters,
and is highly robustness.
Libqrencode supports QR Code model 2, described in JIS (Japanese Industrial
Standards) X0510:2004 or ISO/IEC 18004. Currently the following features are
not supported:
* ECI and FNC1 mode
* QR Code model 1
The PNGwriter library, which requires libpng, allows you to plot to a 48-bit
PNG file, saving it directly to disk. Plotting is as easy as specifying the
red, green, and blue values and the x, y coordinates of the pixel. It includes
functions for plotting simple geometric shapes (circle, rect, line), reading
the colour of a pixel, reading in a whole PNG file (great for image analysis),
plotting and reading in HSV colourspace, and many others that might come in
handy.
Simple X Image Viewer
sxiv is a light image viewer which as a few features :
- Basic image operations, e.g. zooming, panning, rotating
- Customizable key and mouse button mappings (in config.h)
- Thumbnail mode: grid of selectable previews of all images
- Ability to cache thumbnails for fast re-loading
- Basic support for multi-frame images
- Load all frames from GIF files and play GIF animations
- Display image information in status bar
