Hercules is an open source software implementation of the mainframe System/370
and ESA/390 architectures, in addition to the new 64-bit z/Architecture.
Hercules runs under Linux, Windows, Solaris, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X.
Hercules was created by Roger Bowler and is maintained by Jay Maynard. Jan
Jaeger designed and implemented many of the advanced features of Hercules,
including dynamic reconfiguration, integrated console, interpretive execution
and z/Architecture support.
P2000 Emulator
- P2000T or P2000M model (P2000M emulation is buggy)
- Support for 1 ROM cartridge
- User-definable amount of RAM
- One tape drive
- Sound through PC Speaker or SoundBlaster (MS-DOS version), or
USS(/Lite) /dev/dsp (Linux/SVGALib and Unix/X versions)
- SAA5050 character rounding emulated in high resolution mode
The tape files should be writable, otherwise the emulator won't load them.
This project aims to develop a fast emulator for the TI89 (Titanium), 92(+),
and V200PLT calculators. This emulator started on the Jonas Minnberg's
(X)Tiger emulator which is based on UAE (the Universal Amiga Emulator). It
was deeply reworked and improved, thus it's very different now.
TiEmu uses the GDK library (GTK component) for display. The GUI has been
written with GTK+ (the Gimp ToolKit).
UAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore
Amiga 500/1000/2000. Commodore Amiga, for those who don't know, is a 16/32
bit computer system based on the Motorola 680x0 CPU and a few specially
designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities.
Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly
successful A500 and A2000 models.
Requires a valid Amiga ROM file in order to be useful.
CBB is a personal check book balancing utility for Unix/X.
CBB is intended to be an open, extensible program. It utilizes a
simple (tab delimited) data file format and is written entirely in
Tcl/Tk and Perl and contains no compiled code. It provides a simple
interface for users to add their own reports, graphs, and external
modules without having to modify any of the CBB source.
Gnucash is the next generation of money manager created from a merger of
X-Accountant and GnoMoney.
Its features include:
* Ability to import Quicken files ( a must )
* Reports, Graphs, and all of those goodies that you find in Quicken.
* Gnome compliant ( if that is the correct way to put it )
* Separate the GUI from the actual "account/transaction engine"
* Multiple accounts ( Check, Credit, Cash, Mutual Funds, etc.. )
BSDftpd-ssl is the secure FTP server that supports industry standard TLS/SSL
encryption and authentication for whole FTP sessions and data transfers. This
implementation is compatible with the original FTP protocol, which is described
in RFC 959, and the TLS/SSL enhancement allows RFC 2228-compliant TLS/SSL
protection for both control and data channels.
This package contains the secure FTP server, the command-line TLS/SSL-aware FTP
client utility, an essential documentation, and also script programs for a
basic X.509 certificate management.
Battleships solitaire game with a color point-and-shoot interface
in the style of blue and galaxis games (for console).
This program allows you to play the familiar Battleships game against
the computer on a 10x10 board. The interface is visual and largely
self-explanatory; you place your ships and pick your shots by moving
the cursor around the `sea' with the rogue/hack motion keys hjklyubn.

excido is a free (GPL) game. It combines (simple|old school|arcadey) gameplay
with 3D OpenGL graphics and OpenAL positional audio. Excido is not a
highly complex experience, but you may enjoy it as a small diversion.
Excido was developed under GNU/Linux, and has also been found to work on MacOS
X. It should also work with minimal porting effort on the other platforms
supported by SDL/OpenAL.
