Loemu is a free application that provides a simple frontend for various game
emulators.
Features:

Hu-Go! is a PC Engine (TurboGrafx 16) emulator originally coming from
FPCE, with various enhancements from many other emulators.
Mupen64Plus is a plugin-based N64 emulator for Linux, Mac OSX, FreeBSD, and
Windows which is capable of accurately playing many games. Included are four
MIPS R4300 CPU emulators, with dynamic recompilers for 32-bit x86 and 64-bit
amd64 systems, and necessary plugins for audio, graphical rendering (RDP),
signal co-processor (RSP), and input. There are 3 OpenGL video plugins
included: glN64, RiceVideoLinux, and Glide64.
This package includes unadf which extracts files from Amiga .adf
diskfiles used by Amiga emulators like UAE.
AdvanceMAME and AdvanceMESS are unofficial MAME and MESS versions with
an advanced video support for helping the use with TVs, Arcade Monitors,
Fixed Frequencies Monitors and also for PC Monitors.
They run in GNU/Linux, Mac OS X, DOS, Windows and in all the other
platforms supported by the SDL library.
The main difference compared with the official emulators is that the
Advance versions are able to program directly the video board to always
get a video mode with the correct size and frequency.
Generally the Advance emulators are able to use a video mode which
doesn't require any stretching or other unneeded effects to match the
original arcade display.
The direct video board programming is fully supported in Linux and DOS.
It's partially supported in Windows. It isn't supported in Mac OS X and
other platforms.

higan is a Nintendo multi-system emulator that began development
on 2004-10-14. The purpose of this emulator is a bit different from
others: it focuses on accuracy, debugging functionality, and clean code.
The emulator does not focus on things that would hinder accuracy.
This includes speed and game-specific hacks for compatibility.
As a result, the minimum system requirements for higan are very high.
The emulator itself was not derived from any existing emulator source code,
such as SNES9x. It was written from scratch.
Any similarities to other emulators are merely coincidental.

Frodo is a freeware C64 emulator for BeOS, Unix, MacOS, AmigaOS, Win32
and RiscOS systems and the world's first C64 emulator not bearing a
"64" in its name. :-) (No, it has absolutely nothing to do with
frodo.hiof.no, that's a pure coincidence.)
Frodo was developed to reproduce the graphics of games and demos
better than the existing C64 emulators. Therefore Frodo has relatively
high system requirements: It should only be run on systems with at
least a PowerPC/Pentium/68060. But on the other hand, Frodo can
display raster effects correctly that only result in a flickering mess
with other emulators.
Frodo comes in three flavours: The "normal" Frodo with a line-based
emulation, the improved line-based emulation "Frodo PC", and the
single-cycle emulation Frodo SC that is slower but far more
compatible.
In addition to a precise 6510/VIC emulation, Frodo features a
processor-level 1541 emulation that is even able to handle about 95%
of all fast loaders. There is also a faster 1541 emulation for four
drives in .d64/x64 disk images, .t64/LYNX archives, or directories of
the host system.
LIBDSK is a library for accessing disks and disk image files.
It is intended for use in:
* Allows CPMTOOLS use of emulator .DSK images.
* Emulator tools - converting between real floppy disks and disk images,
as CPCTRANS / PCWTRANS do under DOS.
* Floppy controller emulation backend
* Data transfer from/to real CP/M systems via serial line.
