Geographic NameServer
pgeodns is a simple DNS server that can distribute load for a hostname to the nearest mirrors (as defined by geography; on the country / continent level). It is used for search.cpan.org/cpansearch.perl.org and for ftp.perl.org/ftp.cpan.org; to provide nearby-ish servers for the NTP Pool; and to balance svn.apache.org to svn.us.apache.org and svn.eu.apache.org.

Compiler for producing text adventure games
This compiler produces text adventure games that can be played using Infocom-compatible interpreters (such as jzip and xzip in the FreeBSD Ports Collection). This port normally installs HTML documentation in /usr/share/doc/inform. If you would prefer another format, such as TeX, Postscript, or PDF, build the port with NOPORTDOCS=yes and obtain the manual from the FTP site. The FTP site also contains example games and other resources.

Perl extension to Tiny Encryption Algorithm
TEA is a 64-bit symmetric block cipher with a 128-bit key and a variable number of rounds (32 is recommended). It has a low setup time, and depends on a large number of rounds for security, rather than a complex algorithm. It was developed by David J. Wheeler and Roger M. Needham, and is described at http://www.ftp.cl.cam.ac.uk/ftp/papers/djw-rmn/djw-rmn-tea.html .

Unix-Connect - mail+news-gateway for Zconnect (tm)
English abstract: It is a German communication protocol used over modem lines, a mail and news gateway compliant with the German "GATEBAU" regulations. It is the native protocol for z-netz newsgroups. Set the root window to the image of earth
Xearth sets the X root window to an image of the Earth, as seen from your favorite vantage point in space, correctly shaded for the current position of the Sun. By default, xearth updates the displayed image every five minutes. The time between updates can be changed with the -wait option. Xearth can also render directly into PPM and GIF files instead of drawing in the root window. There are three additional marker files installed in /usr/local/lib/X11/xearth which specify the locations of various FreeBSD people and places: freebsd.committers.markers - FreeBSD committers freebsd.submitters.markers - FreeBSD submitters freebsd.ftp.markers - FreeBSD FTP mirrors

Lots of good examples can be downloaded from: ftp://ftp.cs.indiana.edu/pub/faces/picons/src/ Audio capabilities are also provided as a conditional compilation option.
net/rinetd-0.62 (Score: 0.022290953)
Simple TCP port redirector
rinetd redirects TCP connections from one IP address and port to another. rinetd is a single-process server which handles any number of connections to the address/port pairs specified in the file /etc/rinetd.conf. Since rinetd runs as a single process using nonblocking I/O, it is able to redirect a large number of connections without a severe impact on the machine. This makes it practical to run TCP services on machines inside an IP masquerading firewall. rinetd does not redirect FTP, because FTP requires more than one socket. rinetd also supports basic allow/deny access control and logging.
russian/koi8rPS-1.0 (Score: 0.022290953)
Add Russian (KOI8) fonts to your PostScript fonts collection
This port tries to follow numerous suggestions and HOWTOs posted on the web about printing and viewing PostScript files containing Russian characters (in KOI8 encoding, are there others?). In installs the fonts taken from ftp://ftp.kapella.gpi.ru/pub/cyrillic/psfonts/ into their own ${PREFIX}/CyrPS directory, and places the infonts.dir/fonts.scale there for your X-server's perusal. If you happen to have ghostscript installed, it will also append its Fontmap file to print/display with this fonts by default. Note, however, that this will NOT make your PostScript printers print in Russian, since they have their own PostScript interpreters built in. Use `koify' to deal with those.
