X-pired is an action-puzzle game written in C using SDL, SDL_mixer,
SDL_image and SDL_gfx libraries distributed under the terms of GNU
GPL. The goal of the game in each level is to reach the exit square,
avoiding exploding barrels and other deadly stuff...
Backfract is an animated wallpaper program for Unix with X windows.
It fills your background window with a fractal image, then every
15 minutes it will update the image by zooming in or out. As it
zooms in, it uses a simple heuristic to try to stay with
"interesting" scenes.
g2 is an easy to use, portable and powerful 2D graphics library. It provides a
comprehensive set of functions for simultaneous generation of graphical output
on different types of devices. Presently, the following devices are supported:
PostScript, GIF and X11 (xfig is in development). g2 is written in C (ANSI)
and additionally has a Fortran interface.
HERMES, named after the messenger of the gods, is a library whose
only purpose is to convert graphic data from one pixel format to another in
the fastest possible way.
HERMES will also do surface clearing. And it will do it FAST (even with
x86 and MMX routines if you're on those platforms).
Mxp (Mandelbrot explorer) is an X application for computing and exploring
Mandelbrot sets. Features of mxp include:
- zoom and un-zoom
- dynamic resizing of drawing window
- setup save/load
- asynchronous image generation (buttons always work)
- GIF output
- animation
- nine color schemes
- color rotation
- color change options
- detailed statistics
Quick Image Viewer (qiv) is a very small and pretty fast GDK/Imlib2 image
viewer. It has such nifty features as: zoom, maxpect, scaledown,
screensaver, flip, delete, brightness / contrast / gamma correction, and
can also be used to set your X11 background. All from a commandline.
This module provides a Perl interface to the amazing Graphviz, an open source
graph visualization tool from AT&T.
It is called GraphViz2 so that pre-existing code using (the Perl module)
GraphViz continues to work.
To avoid confusion, when I use GraphViz2 (note the capital V), I'm referring to
this Perl module, and when I use Graphviz (lower-case v) I'm referring to the
underlying tool (which is in fact a set of programs).
This version of GraphViz2 targets Graphviz 2.23.6+.
GraphViz2 1.x is a complete re-write, by Ron Savage, of GraphViz 2.x, which was
written by Leon Brocard. The point of the re-write is to provide access to all
the latest options available to users of Graphviz.
GraphViz2 1.x is not backwards compatible with GraphViz 2.x, despite the
considerable similarity. It was not possible to maintain compatibility while
extending support to all the latest features of Graphviz.
To ensure GraphViz2 is a light-weight module, Hash::FieldHash has been used to
provide getters and setters, rather than Moose.
This module provides access to most of the OpenGL 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 APIs.
Some amount of GLU is supported (I'm not quite sure what version it works
out to), and GLUT should be completely supported up to API version 3. A
small portion of GLX and X11 is supported, as an alternative to GLUT.
Okular is a universal document viewer based on KPDF for KDE 4. This
means Okular works on multiple platforms, including but not limited to
Linux, Windows, Mac OS X, *BSD, etc.
Okular combines the excellent functionalities of KPDF with the
versatility of supporting different kind of documents, like PDF,
Postscript, DjVu, CHM, XPS, ePub and others.
This is a port of "XaoS", a real time fractal browser for X11 and
ASCII terminals.
Features:
- Very fast algorithms allow interactive zooming.
- Various coloring modes are provided for points inside and
outside the selected fractal.
- Autopilot mode
- 11 fractal formulas
- saving to GIF files
- palette rotation
- random dot stereograms
