Ponscripter is an interpreter for visual-novel-type games, derived from
the NScripter design but modified significantly to improve support for
Western languages (at the cost of diminished support for Japanese).
Ponscripter is a fork of ONScripter-En that drops any attempt to remain
in synch with the upstream source code, and instead concentrates on
providing the best possible support for Western languages. It is no
longer fully NScripter-compatible, but remains an easy target to port
NScripter games to when localising them.
This fork takes advantage of SDL2 and improves Steam integration.
Loemu is a free application that provides a simple frontend for various game
emulators.
Features:
- Currently it supports game emulation with mame, sdlmame and snes9x.
- Browse games using dynamic list. This allows to browse in a list generated
with some categories (and it has other advantages).
- Finds games quickly. Using a specific dialog that looks for a game in all
the gamelist.
- The generation of the dynamic list filtering the gamelist is very fast.
- It has been developed with PyGTK + Glade.
- Released under GNU General Public License.
The design of loemu allows the support of more emulators adding specific
emulator configuration files.
Virtual GameBoy Advance (VGBA) is an emulator of the GameBoy Advance
videogame console produced by Nintendo. It allows to run GameBoy
Advance games on PCs, Macs, or just about any other sufficiently
fast computers in existence. It can also help to debug GameBoy
Advance software without using a costly development system. VGBA
is not a real GameBoy Advance though. Get the real thing if you
want a real experience. Also, VGBA will not play older GameBoy and
GameBoy Color games. You will need VGB for that.
