Q2PRO is a Quake II engine modification. Client and server sides are both compatible with original Quake2 v3.20 network architecture, as well as with modern R1Q2 network architecture. Q2PRO is designed to be secure, fast, and doesn't provide any graphical enhancements that are contrary to the classic Quake2 look and feel. It yet provides some features unique to Quake2, most notably server side MVDs (multi view demos). Q2PRO has its own software and OpenGL refresh libraries and runs under Windows and Unix-like systems. Spiro is the creation of Raph Levien. It simplifies the drawing of beautiful curves. Using bezier splines an artist can easily draw curves with the same slope on either side of an on-curve point. Spiros, on the other hand, are based on clothoid splines which make it easy to maintain constant curvature as well as constant slope. Such curves will simply look nicer. Raph Levien's spiro splines only use on-curve points and so are easier to use and more intuitive to the artist. This library will take an array of spiro control points and convert them into a series of bezier splines which can then be used in the myriad of ways the world has come to use beziers. Fityk is a program for nonlinear fitting of analytical functions (especially peak-shaped) to data (usually experimental data). There are also people using it only to display data or to remove baseline from data. It is reported to be used in crystallography, chromatography, photoluminescence, infrared and Raman spectroscopy and other fields. Fityk knows about common peak-shaped functions (Gaussian, Lorentzian, Voigt, Pearson VII, bifurcated Gaussian, EMG, Doniach-Sunjic, etc.) and polynomials. It also supports user-defined functions. Fityk offers intuitive graphical interface (and also command line interface), variouse optimization methods (standard Marquardt least-square algorithm, Genetic Algorithms, Nelder-Mead simplex), equality constraints, modelling error of x coordinate of points (eg. zero-shift of instrument), handling series of datasets, automation of common tasks with scripts, and more.

This library of routines is part of a reference implementation for the Dense and Banded BLAS routines, along with their Extended and Mixed Precision versions, as documented in Chapters 2 and 4 of the new BLAS Standard. EXTENDED PRECISION is only used internally; the input and output arguments remain the same as in the existing BLAS. At present, we only allow Single, Double, or Extra internal precision. Extra precision is implemented as double-double precision (128-bit total, 106-bit significand). The routines for the double-double precision basic arithmetic operations +, -, *, / were developed by David Bailey. We have designed all our routines assuming that single precision arithmetic is actually done in IEEE single precision (32 bits) and that double precision arithmetic is actually done in IEEE double precision (64 bits). The routines also pass our tests on an Intel machine with 80-bit floating point registers. MIXED PRECISION permits some input/output arguments to be of different types (mixing real and complex) or precisions (mixing single and double).

PySimpleSOAP (Python Simple SOAP) library for client and server webservices interfaces, aimed to be as small and easy as possible, supporting most common functionality. Initially it was inspired by PHP Soap Extension (mimicking it functionality, simplicity and ease of use), with many advanced features added. Goals: - Simple: less than 200LOC client/server concrete implementation for easy maintainability and enhancments. - Flexible: adapted to several SOAP dialects (Java Axis, .Net, JBoss), with the posibility of fine-tuning XML request and responses - Pythonic: no artifacts, no class generation, no special types, RPC calls parameters and return values are simple python structures (dicts, list, etc.) - Dynamic: no definition (WSDL) required, dynamic generation and parsing supported (cached in a pickle file for performance, supporting fixing broken WSDL) - Easy: simple xml manipulation, including basic serialization and raw object-like access to SOAP messages - Extensible: supports several HTTP wrappers (httplib2, pycurl, urllib2) for special transport needs over SSL and proxy (ISA)

This perl script is an official DShield client who's purpose is to read your FreeBSD ipfilter firewall ipmon log file and convert the log records to the standard DShield reporting record format, and imbed the converted log records into the body of an email that gets sent to DShield for automatic addition to their database and abuse reporting to the offenders ISP if you are an subscribed DShield member. Script contains user customable defaults which can be overridden with command line flags. (visit http://www.dshield.org for details). Nikto is an Open Source (GPL) web server scanner which performs comprehensive tests against web servers for multiple items, including over 6100 potentially dangerous files/CGIs, checks for outdated versions of over 950 servers, and version specific problems on over 260 servers. It also checks for server configuration items such as the presence of multiple index files, HTTP server options, and will attempt to identify installed web servers and software. Scan items and plugins are frequently updated and can be automatically updated. It uses Rain Forest Puppy's LibWhisker (wiretrip.net) for HTTP functionality, and can perform checks in HTTP or HTTPS. It also supports basic port scanning and will determine if a web server is running on any open ports. Nikto is written by Chris Sullo and David Lodge.

Pam_p11 is a plugable authentication module (pam) package for using crpytographic tokens such as smart cards and usb crypto tokens for authentication. Pam_p11 uses libp11 to access any PKCS#11 module. It should be compatible with any implementation, but it is primarely developed using OpenSC. Pam_p11 implements two authentication modules: * pam_p11_openssh authenticates the user using his openssh ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file. * pam_p11_opensc authenticates the user using certificates found in ~/.eid/authorized_certificates. Pam_p11 is very simple, it has no config file, no options other than the PKCS#11 module file, does not know about certificate chains, certificate authorities, revocation lists or OCSP. Perfect for the small installation with no frills.
