This is the LIBEPP-NICBR C++ library that partially implements the
Extensible Provisioning Protocol (EPP), as described in the Internet
Drafts RFC3730bis to RFC3734bis and RFC3735.
RFC3731bis - EPP Domain Name Mapping - was implemented with hosts as
attributes of the Domain Object.
In order to conform to the .BR model, extensions to the EPP Domain Name
and Contact Mapping were made (draft-neves-epp-brdomain and
draft-neves-epp-brorg), supported since version 0.2. The documentation
for these extensions is available at EPP References [1].

QStat is a command-line program that displays real-time information about
Internet game servers. The servers can be either down, non-responding, or
running a game. For servers running a game, the server name, map name,
current number of players, and response time are displayed. Server rules
and player information may also be displayed. It can output templates for
automatic HTML generation, and also has raw display mode for integration
with custom server browsers. Incomplete list of supported games includes:
- old Quake (NetQuake)
- QuakeWorld
- Hexen II
- HexenWorld
- Quake II
- Unreal
- Half-Life 2
- Half-Life
- Doom III
- Warsow
- Tremulous
RenRot is utility written in Perl, aiming to carry out different processing
tasks upon the image files (especially those containing EXIF data).
RenRot renames files according to the flexible name template (allowing the
DateTimeOriginal and FileModifyDate EXIF tags, if they exist, otherwise, the
name will be set according to the current time stamp). Furthermore, RenRot
can aggregate files according to the shooting time period.
Additionally, it can losslessly rotate JPEGs and their thumbnails, based on
the Orientation EXIF tag, or a given angle.
The script can also put commentary into the Commentary and UserComment tags.
Personal details can be specified via XMP tags defined in a configuration
file.

Gofer is an interactive functional programming environment (i.e. an
interpreter) supporting a language based on the draft report for Haskell
version 1.2.
Gofer is intended as an experimental language, particularly where type classes
are involved. Gofer extends the Haskell type class system in several ways.
The most significant features of Haskell not currently supported are:
modules, arrays, overloaded numeric constants, default declarations, derived
instances, contexts in datatype definitions.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And just in case you wondered:
The name "Gofer" is not a trademark, registered or otherwise, and
you are free to mention this name in published material, public and
private correspondence, or other documents without restriction or
obligation.

nss-pam-ldapd, a Name Service Switch (NSS) module and
Pluggable Authentication Module (PAM) that allows your
LDAP server to provide user account, group, host name,
alias, netgroup, and basically any other information that
you would normally get from /etc flat files or NIS. It also
allows you to do authentication to an LDAP server.
Key differences from nss_ldap:
* lighter NSS library
* lighter PAM library
* simpler internal semantics
* clear separation between NSS, PAM and LDAP code (the server
part could easily be implemented in another language)
* less connections to the LDAP server
MATE is a fork of GNOME 2.
It provides an intuitive and attractive desktop to users using
traditional metaphors.
--
Where does the name come from?
The name "MATE" comes from yerba mate, a species of holly native
to subtropical South America. Its leaves contain caffeine and are
used to make infusions and a beverage called mate.
--
This metaport installs MATE base (lite, a lean desktop) plus
extras applications such as text editor, archiver manager and
etc. If you do not want to have the bloats, please install
x11/mate-base.

xwit ("x window interface tool") is a hotch-potch collection of simple routines
to call some of those X11 functions that don't already have any utility commands
built around them. The reasoning behind this is that loosely every X function
should be accessible from a shell script.
For example, XWarpPointer() will move the X pointer, but no utility program
exists to do so on those rare occasions when you could really use it. xwit will
also resize, iconify, pop, and move windows given by name or id, change an icon,
title or name, set the screen saver going, and change individual key autorepeat
settings.
The id3 Renamer is used to rename batches of mpeg3 files by reading the
ID3 tag at the end of the file which contains the song name, artist,
album, year, and a comment. The secondary function of id3 Renamer is
a tagger, which can create, modify, or remove ID3 tags.
Tomahawk is a music player that fundamentally changes the way music is
consumed and shared.
It decouples the name of the song from the source it was shared from - and
fulfills the request using all of your available sources.
This creates a universal translation layer across music repositories,
streaming services and geographic territories.
