This library is designed to make it easy to write games that run on UNIX, Win32, MacOS X and other platforms using the various native high-performance media interfaces (for video, audio, etc) and presenting a single source-code level API to your application. This is a fairly low level API, but using this, completely portable applications can be written with a great deal of flexibility.

The Listen gem listens to file modifications and notifies you about the changes. BIEW is multiplatform portable viewer of binary files with built-in editor with binary, hexadecimal, and disassembler modes. It uses native Intel syntax for disassembly and offers many useful features such as highlighting for AVR/Java/x86-AMD64/ARM-XScale/PPC-64 code, Russian codepage converter, full preview of formats MZ, NE, PE, NLM, COFF32, ELF (and partially a.out, LE, LX, PharLap), code navigator, and much more.

KDE Base Applications consists of what runs on the desktop. This module isn't a complete collection of essential applications that a user would expect on a desktop (such as e-mail and calculator). This package is the basic set of applications beyond the workspace that KDE applications can assume are installed. These applications should have no problem running on Windows, OS X, Gnome, etc. as stand alone applications if the user wanted to use them there.

Padre is written in Perl, runs on all three major desktop platforms (Windows, Mac OS X and Unix/GTK), and is distributed under the perl license. Hercules is an open source software implementation of the mainframe System/370 and ESA/390 architectures, in addition to the new 64-bit z/Architecture. Hercules runs under Linux, Windows, Solaris, FreeBSD, and Mac OS X. Hercules was created by Roger Bowler and is maintained by Jay Maynard. Jan Jaeger designed and implemented many of the advanced features of Hercules, including dynamic reconfiguration, integrated console, interpretive execution and z/Architecture support.

This project aims to develop a fast emulator for the TI89 (Titanium), 92(+), and V200PLT calculators. This emulator started on the Jonas Minnberg's (X)Tiger emulator which is based on UAE (the Universal Amiga Emulator). It was deeply reworked and improved, thus it's very different now. TiEmu uses the GDK library (GTK component) for display. The GUI has been written with GTK+ (the Gimp ToolKit).

UAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. Commodore Amiga, for those who don't know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680x0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models. Requires a valid Amiga ROM file in order to be useful.

CBB is a personal check book balancing utility for Unix/X. CBB is intended to be an open, extensible program. It utilizes a simple (tab delimited) data file format and is written entirely in Tcl/Tk and Perl and contains no compiled code. It provides a simple interface for users to add their own reports, graphs, and external modules without having to modify any of the CBB source.
