Zabbix is an enterprise-class open source distributed monitoring
solution.
Zabbix is software that monitors numerous parameters of a network and
the health and integrity of servers. Zabbix uses a flexible
notification mechanism that allows users to configure e-mail based
alerts for virtually any event. This allows a fast reaction to server
problems. Zabbix offers excellent reporting and data visualisation
features based on the stored data. This makes Zabbix ideal for
capacity planning.
phpipam is an open-source web IP address management application.
Its goal is to provide light and simple IP address management
application. It is ajax-based using jQuery libraries, php scripts,
javascript and some HTML5/CSS3 features.
- IPv4 / IPv6 address management
- ICMP status updates, subnet scanning and status showing
- Domain authentication (AD) / OpenLDAP authentication
- Visual subnet display
- VRF support
- VLAN management
- RIPE import
- Import / export XLS files
- E-Mail notification with IP details
- IP database search
- Custom IP/subnet/userVLAN address fields

This is a set of Perl 5 modules for reading, manipulating, and
writing the .prc and .pdb database files used by PalmOS devices such
as the PalmPilot.
It is fairly easy to extend the functionality of this package
by writing parsers for any .pdb type that you like. This package
includes sample modules to parse the databases created by the built-in
applications (Address, Datebook, Mail, Memo, ToDo).
These modules were written to support ColdSync, a Palm
synchronization tool for Unix.
hlfl stands for "High Level Firewall Language". It permits writing
firewalling rules using a high level language, and transforms them into
rules for real software, like ipfilter, ipchains or cisco rules.
You could make contact with the developers by subscribing to
<hlfl@hlfl.org>. There is also an announce ML at <hlfl-announce@hlfl.org>.
These lists are managed by majordomo (write to <majordomo@hlfl.org> with
"help" in the body of your mail).
OpenSC provides a set of libraries and utilities to
access smart cards. Its main focus is on cards that
support cryptographic operations, and facilitate their
use in security applications such as mail encryption,
authentication, and digital signature.
OpenSC implements the PKCS#11 API so applications
supporting this API such as Mozilla Firefox and
Thunderbird can use it.
OpenSC implements the PKCS#15 standard and aims to be
compatible with every software that does so, too.
dsniff is a collection of tools for network auditing and penetration testing.
dsniff, filesnarf, mailsnarf, msgsnarf, urlsnarf, and webspy passively monitor
a network for interesting data (passwords, e-mail, files, etc.). arpspoof,
dnsspoof, and macof facilitate the interception of network traffic normally
unavailable to an attacker (e.g, due to layer-2 switching). sshmitm and webmitm
implement active monkey-in-the-middle attacks against redirected SSH and HTTPS
sessions by exploiting weak bindings in ad-hoc PKI.
Metalog is a modern replacement for syslogd and klogd. The logged messages can
be dispatched according to their facility, urgency, program name and/or
Perl-compatible regular expressions.
Log files can be automatically rotated when they exceed a certain size or age.
External shell scripts (ex: mail) can be launched when specific patterns are
found.
Metalog is easier to configure than syslogd and syslog-ng, accepts unlimited
number of rules and has (switchable) memory bufferisation for maximal
performance.
Ruby wrapper around David Loren Parsons' discount, a fast,
BSD-licensed C implementation of John Gruber's Markdown plus
some aspects of SmartyPants. Markdown is a text-to-HTML
conversion language for web writers, inspired by the format
of plain-text e-mail messages. Markdown allows you to write
in an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then
convert it to structurally valid XHTML (or HTML).
