TetriNET is an addictive 6 player tetr*s game
What this program does is set up a TetriNET server that ordinary
TetriNET clients can connect to. It attempts to fix some of the
"glaring" holes in the TetriNET protocol that I discovered, and which
I'm sure some people use as cheats, but I now see why it is nearly
impossible to fix ;), without a modification to the client.
I've kept the server as close to the same as the original TetriNET
server, but I've added some extras that I've often wanted, such as
the "/kick" and "/ban" keywords.
Please note, this server in no way encompasses the whole game. The clients
are the ones that do most of the work, with the server just passing suitable
packets between each client, and of course adding some of it's own.
Tetrinet is a multiplayer, networked tetris game for up to 6 players.
This is a Tetrinet client for the console.
You must be using at least a 50-line text display to run this version of
Tetrinet. This is made by either typing 'vidcontrol 80x50' before
you start tetrinet, or by adding 'allscreens_flags="80x50"' to /etc/rc.conf.
The HexGlass is a Tetris-like puzzle game. Ten different types of
blocks continuously fall from above and you must arrange them to
make horizontal rows of hexagonal bricks. Completing any row causes
those hexagonal blocks to disappear and the rest above move downwards.
The blocks above gradually fall faster and the game is over when
the screen fills up and blocks can no longer fall from the top.
This is a console-based Linux program, written in C language, that solves
Su Doku puzzles (aka Sudoku, Number Place, etc.) using deductive logic.
It will only resort to trial-and-error and backtracking approaches upon
exhausting its deductive moves.
Sudsol is a small utility to solve Sudoku puzzles.
The usage is very simple; add your puzzle to a textfile in the following
format:
7.94...18
.3......2
....974..
...13.5..
.....83..
.4..7...9
5683...7.
2.3....51
.7..2....
and run 'sudsol puzzle.txt'
The Grind is a simple game about escaping from work at a reasonable hour
by avoiding responsibility.
The goal is to acquire as little work (as few "to-do's") as possible
throughout your 9-5 workday.
Wander around the cubicles and hide from the men in suits--if they're
coming your way, that means they want to give you work!
Use the arrow keys to move, space to start, and escape to exit.
Tile World is an emulation of the game "Chip's Challenge". "Chip's
Challenge" was originally written for the Atari Lynx by Chuck Sommerville,
and was later ported to MS Windows by Microsoft (among other ports).
"Chip's Challenge" is a game made up of both intellectually engaging
puzzles and situations demanding fast reflexes. As you might have guessed,
it is a tile-based game. The object of each level is simply to get out --
i.e., to find and achieve the exit tile. This simple task, however, can
sometimes be extremely challenging.
WHAT IS TKSOL
-------------
TkSol is a version of the card game solitaire written with the Tcl/Tk
language. A color monitor is highly recommended, especially if you want
to get addicted to the game, as trying to see which card is black and
which is red under monochrome can be rather eye soring :(. TkSol comes
with a set of cardfront [faceup card] bitmaps created by Joseph L.
Traub (see cardbitmaps/copyright.h). An initial set of cardback
[facedown card] bitmaps was hacked up by James da Silva
