nhpf ---- This program makes you can print hangul homepages with Netscape 2.0 or later, in Unix with PostScript printer (or with Ghostscript). The filtered PS file is self-contained, because this program appends hangul fonts, "n3f-5" (N-byte 3BeolSik hangul Font 5), "n3f-5b" (the bold font), "n3f-5i" and "n3f-5bi" (the slanted version of them) to the output. This means that you can print hangul homepages with every PostScript printer.

HARU is a free, cross platform, open-sourced software library for generating PDF. It supports the following features. 1. Generating PDF files with lines, text, images. 2. Outline, text annotation, link annotation. 3. Compressing document with deflate-decode. 4. Embedding PNG, Jpeg images. 5. Embedding Type1 font and TrueType font. 6. Creating encrypted PDF files. 7. Using various character set (ISO8859-1~16, MSCP1250~8, KOI-8R). 8. Supporting CJK fonts and encodings. You can add the feature of PDF creation by using HARU without understanding complicated internal structure of PDF.

PDF::Template is a layout system that creates Adobe PDF files from the same data structure used by HTML::Template. Currently, the only renderer support is pdflib_pl, which is from PDFLib (www.pdflib.com). There is a free version (PDFLib Lite), but that does not handle Unicode. If you need CJK fonts, you will need to purchase the full version of PDFLib from them.

pslib is a C-library to create PostScript files on the fly. It offers many drawing primitives, inclusion of png and eps images and a very sophisticated text rendering including hyphenation, kerning and ligatures. It can read external Type1 fonts and embed them into the output file. It supports pdfmarks which makes it in combination with ghostscript's pdfwriter an alternative for libraries creating PDF.

PDFMiner is a tool for extracting information from PDF documents. Unlike other PDF-related tools, it focuses entirely on getting and analyzing text data. PDFMiner allows to obtain the exact location of texts in a page, as well as other information such as fonts or lines. It includes a PDF converter that can transform PDF files into other text formats (such as HTML). It has an extensible PDF parser that can be used for other purposes instead of text analysis.

rtfx converts RTF files into a generic XML format. It majors on keeping meta data like style names, etc... rather than every bit of formatting. This makes it handy for converting RTF documents into a custom XML format (using XSL or an additional processing step). RTF features supported: page breaks, section breaks, style names, lists (various types), tables, footnotes, info block, bold, italic, underline, super/sub script, hidden text, strike out, text color, fonts.

Bitstream Cyberbit is a TrueType font. It is an international font, containing characters from many languages. Each character is encoded with its Unicode value, according to Unicode 2.0 standards. Cyberbit was developed by Bitstream to provide Unicode Consortium members with a test font. It is therefore distributed freely to customers that need advanced multilingual fonts for testing and other non-commercial uses. Customers that wish to use Cyberbit for other purposes must license the font from Bitstream.

The Ubuntu Font Family are a set of matching new libre/open fonts in development during 2010--2011. The development is being funded by Canonical Ltd on behalf the wider Free Software community and the Ubuntu project. The technical font design work and implementation is being undertaken by Dalton Maag. Both the final font Truetype/OpenType files and the design files used to produce the font family are distributed under an open licence and you are expressly encouraged to experiment, modify, share and improve.

The cdecimal is a fast drop-in replacement for the decimal module in Python's standard library. Both modules provide complete implementations of the General Decimal Arithmetic Specification. Typical performance gains are between 30x for I/O heavy benchmarks and 80x for numerical programs. The xcb-util module provides a number of libraries which sit on top of libxcb, the core X protocol library, and some of the extension libraries. These experimental libraries provide convenience functions and interfaces which make the raw X protocol more usable. Some of the libraries also provide client-side code which is not strictly part of the X protocol but which have traditionally been provided by Xlib.
