This plug-in makes a out of focus with luminosity and depth, like a
sight or lenses. It can be used with depth map, depth fakes and
shining effect. Also it works as a simple and applicable blur.
G'MIC stands for GREYC's Magic Image Converter. This project aims to:
* Define a minimal but powerful script language (G'MIC) dedicated to the
design of image processing pipelines.
* Provide an interpreter of this language (in C++), distributed as an
open-source module/library embeddable in third-party applications.
* Propose two binary tools embedding this interpreter :
o The command-line executable gmic to use the G'MIC framework from a shell.
o The interactive plug-in gmic_gimp to bring G'MIC capabilities to the image
retouching software GIMP.
The meta port for GIMP User Manual which consists of HTML pages
in several languages for use with the internal GIMP help browser
or any web browser.

GIMP plugin that creates a white (or black) border around an image
that merges in with the image so that on a larger white (or black)
background, the image appears to have a ragged border.
This is similar to the GIMP's Fuzzy Border, but it adapts its
jaggedness to the image. (Also unlike Fuzzy Border, it is deterministic,
it does not depend on random number seeds.)
The plugin can be found under "Filters > theilr > jagged Border"
GimpLensfun is a Gimp plugin to correct lens distortion using the lensfun
library and database.
The plugin can be found under "Filters > Enhance > GimpLensfun".
It automatically detects camera, lens type, and corresponding parameters
from the EXIF information embedded in the image file.
The Liquid Rescale plugin is an implementation of the content-aware
resizing by seam carving algorithm by Shai Avidan and Ariel Shamir.
It aims at resizing pictures non uniformly while preserving the
features of the picture, i.e. avoiding distortion of the important
parts of the picture. It can also be used to remove portions of the
picture in a consistent way.
It works both ways, but enlarging gives better results if done in
successive steps. It can use extra layers as masks to select which
features of the image should be preserved and which should be
discarded.
The plugin works on the active layer or floating selection. If a
selection is present, it is saved to a channel. If the layer has a
transparency mask, an option is given to select the behaviour
(apply/discard).
GMT is a collection of public-domain Unix tools that allows you to
manipulate x,y and x,y,z data sets (filtering, trend fitting,
gridding, projecting, etc.) and produce PostScript illustrations
ranging from simple x-y plots, via contour maps, to artificially
illuminated surfaces and 3-d perspective views in black/white or
24bit color. Linear, log10, and power scaling is supported in
addition to 25 common map projections. The processing and display
routines within GMT are completely general and will handle any (x,y)
or (x,y,z) data as input.
This port installs only the GMT manpages, there is a tutorial and
documentation in .ps, .pdf and .html format on the ftp site, too.
In case you look for data to plot, there is topological data at
ftp://topex.ucsd.edu/pub/global_topo_2min/topo_8.2.img
(140MB, covers nearly the whole earth)
Gcolor is a very simple color picker that can be used to
pick precise colors. It was inspired as a replacement for
xcolorsel that offers a wider band of colors to pick from.
Gcolor2 is a simple, standalone GTK+ 2.0 color selector.

During image processing operations such as scanning and scaling,
images tend to get blurry.
The blurred impression of these images is due to the fact that image
pixels are averaged with their neighbors. Blurred images don't have
sharp boundaries and look as though they have been taken with an
unfocussed camera.
Refocus is a GIMP plug-in to "refocus" the image, using a technique
called FIR Wiener filtering. The traditional technique for sharpening
images is to use unsharp masking. Refocus generally produces better
results than unsharp masking.
The plugin can be found under "Filters > Enhance > Refocus"
