CHU is a time-standard shortwave radio station operated by National
Research Council Canada (NRC). This software uses signals from radio
station CHU to set and frequency discipline the system clock on a
Linux (FreeBSD) based system.
congruity is a GUI application for programming Logitech(R) Harmony(TM)
remote controls. congruity builds upon the work of the concordance project,
which provides the underlying communication.
This program provides a convenient way to manage many remote serial
consoles for machines. A server (conserver(8)) runs on each server
machine and it connects to the specified serial port. It can log,
provide shared access to remote consoles, etc. If there are multiple
machines running conserver(8), a master conserver(8) can be run to
connect to all the slave servers, providing a single point of access
to the entire cluster.
This is very handy for remote unattended FreeBSD servers. It can send
serial break signals which is useful for breaking into DDB on hung machines.
CQRLOG is an advanced ham radio logger based on MySQL database. It provides
radio control based on hamlib libraries, DX cluster connection, band map,
QRZ.com/HamQTH.com callbook (XML access), IOTA support, a grayliner,
propagation indicator, xplanet support (maps in azimuthal projection centered
in your QTH), OK1RR free QSL manager database etc.
Conserver is an application that allows multiple users to watch a serial console
at the same time. It can log the data, allows users to take write-access of a
console (one at a time), and has a variety of bells and whistles to accentuate
that basic functionality.
The idea is that conserver will log all your serial traffic so you can go back
and review why something crashed, look at changes (if done on the console),
or tie the console logs into a monitoring system (just watch the logfiles it
creates).
With multi-user capabilities you can work on equipment with others, mentor,
train, etc.
It also does all that client-server stuff so that, assuming you have a network
connection, you can interact with any of the equipment from home or wherever.
CuteCom is a QT-based graphical serial terminal ideally suited to embedded
programming and robotics.
Cwdaemon is a small daemon which uses the PC parallel or serial port and a
simple transistor switch to output morse code to a transmitter from a text
message sent to it via the UDP Internet protocol.
While preparing for a release 4.2 of the sdr-j software package,
we created two new programs
a DAB receiver
a broad spectrum version of the FM receiver
It is quite obvious that one can use a DAB stick to receive DAB
programs. However, the DAB software presented here is a real SDR
in that it uses the 8 bit I/Q samples of the DAB stick.
Yet another DCF77 decoder. This one is intended for the Raspberry Pi
platform but might work on other devices using GPIO pins too.
The received data can be logged for later playback/analysis.
The software is written as a library for easy reuse into other software.
