This package contains [incr Tk] version 3.0.1. [incr Tk] is a
companion to [incr Tcl] and builds a ``mega-widget'' framework into
Tk. The [incr Tk] extension is also known as ``itk''.
A companion to [incr Tk] called [incr Widgets] provides a widget set,
with many improved widgets. The [incr Widgets] collection is also known
as ``iwidgets'' and is available in x11-toolkits.
The BWidget Toolkit is a high-level Widget Set for Tcl/Tk built using
native Tcl/Tk 8.x namespaces.
The BWidgets have a professional look&feel as in other well known
Toolkits (Tix or Incr Widgets), but the concept is radically different
because everything is pure Tcl/Tk. No platform dependencies, and no
compiling required. The code is 100% Pure Tcl/Tk.
tkdnd is an extension that adds native drag & drop capabilities to the
tk toolkit. It can be used with any tk version equal or greater to 8.4
and currently only the UNIX (X-Windows) and Microsoft Windows operating
systems are supported. Under Unix the drag & drop protocol in use is the
XDND protocol version 4 (also used by the QT toolkit, KDE & GNOME
Desktops).
awesome is a highly configurable, next generation framework window
manager for X. It is very fast, small, dynamic, heavily extensible using
the Lua programming language, and licensed under the GNU GPLv2 license.
It is primarly targeted at power users, developers and any people
dealing with every day computing tasks and who want to have fine-grained
control on theirs graphical environment.
Fvwm is a just another window manager for X11, which provides a simple virtual
desktop, a 3-D look for windows decorations, and shaped, color icons.
It can be configured to use far less memory than twm, or to give a very
good emulation of mwm. A nice button-bar can be used to provide convenient
access to frequently used functions or programs.
from the Web page:
evilwm is a minimalist window manager for X. The name evil
came from Stuart 'Stuii' Ford, who reckons any window
manager I use has to be evil and masochistic. This is not
the case at all, but I liked the name.
It features movement, killing, lowering, raising, and moving windows
by keyboard control. It supports virtual desktops.

lwm is a window manager for X that tries to keep out of your
face. There are no icons, no button bars, no icon docks, no root
menus, no nothing...
It's a tiny (less than 30k shared binary) and fast window manager.
Muffin is a minimal X window manager aimed at nontechnical users and is
designed to integrate well with the GNOME desktop. Muffin lacks some
features that may be expected by traditional UNIX or other technical
users; these users may want to investigate other available window man-
agers for use with GNOME or standalone.
Based on Mutter 3.2.1
mutter is a minimal X window manager aimed at nontechnical users and is
designed to integrate well with the GNOME desktop. mutter lacks some
features that may be expected by traditional UNIX or other technical
users; these users may want to investigate other available window man-

This is a window manager based on the Qt library. It supports
icons, keyboard controls, and virtual screens. It comes with two
applets: a biff-like mail indicator and a clock, both designed to
be swallowed by its toolbar.
Caution! Killing this window manager will kill some of your X
clients (applications).
