Make your XDM login screen look beautiful
The purpose of XBanner is to make the XDM login screen beautiful, as opposed
to the dull and gray login screen that the vanilla XDM gives. The idea came
from Digital's login screen which displays the Digital logo nicely. I use
Linux and wanted to run XDM, but XDM's login screen was such a boring thing,
so I wrote XBanner!

Display all (ok, most of) the colors in the universe
xcolors reads the rgb.txt file that defines the color names the X
server knows and displays the colors found.
This version is taken from the X11R6 contrib tape.
X utility to translate rgb values into X color names
xcolorsel is a X-Utility based on this widget that allows you to display such
files ( /usr/lib/X11/rgb.txt by default ) together with tiles showing how the
color looks on your screen. Also a programmer may (like with xfontsel) cut
the color names/definitions in various formats (Colorformats and formats for
resourcefiles or C-sources) und paste them directly in his source codes.

This type of format became available as a result of Keith Packard's work on
XFree86 v4.3.

xgrab lets you grab arbitrary rectangular images from an X server and
writes them to files or commands (such as lpr) in a variety of
