The goals of the Linux-NTFS project are to develop reliable and full feature
access to NTFS by the Linux kernel driver and by a user space driver
(ntfsmount), and to provide a wide collection of NTFS utilities and a
developer's library for other GPLed programs. We have already achieved a lot,
with high quality results. Includes the following:
ntfsmount: fast, reliable, read/write, userspace.
ntfsprogs: various tools for managing ntfs, namely mkntfs, ntfsresize,
ntfsclone, ntfsfix, ntfsundelete, ntfswipe and ntfsdecrypt.
From aaareadme.txt:
Say, what is this?
ODS2 is a program to read VMS disk volumes written in VMS
ODS2 format.
What can it do?
Basically ODS2 provides cut down DIRECTORY, COPY and
SEARCH commands for VMS volumes on non-VMS systems. These
can be used to find out what is on a VMS volume, and copy
files onto the local file sytem.
See aaareadme.txt and aaareadme.too for more information.
OpenHPI provides an open source implementation of the Service Availability
Forum (SAF) Hardware Platform Interface (HPI).
HPI is an abstracted interface for managing computer hardware, typically
chassis and rack based servers. HPI includes resource modeling; access to
and control over sensor, control, watchdog, and inventory data associated
with resources; abstracted System Event Log interfaces; hardware events and
alarms; and a managed hotswap interface.
OpenIPMI was designed to aid building "complex IPMI management software".
OpenIPMI library will connect with an IPMI controller, detect any
management controllers on the bus, get their SDRs, manage all the
entities in the system, manage the event log, and a host of other
things. OpenIPMI is also dynamic and event-driven. It will come up
and start discovering things in the managed system. As it discovers
things, it will report them to the software using it (assuming the
software has asked for this reporting).
The procmap utility reliably prints the contents of an entire procfs map
file, whereas a utility like cat cannot reliably do so.
pslist is a simple command-line utility for viewing and sending signals
to a whole process tree.
GOsa is a combination of system-administrator and end-user web
interface, designed to handle LDAP based setups. Provided is access
to posix, shadow, samba, proxy, fax, and kerberos accounts. It is able
to manage the postfix/cyrus server combination and can write user
adapted sieve scripts.
HATop is an interactive ncurses client and real-time monitoring
statistics displaying tool for the HAProxy Unix socket.
HATop's appearance is similar to top. It supports various modes for
detailed statistics of all configured proxies and services in near
realtime. In addition, it features an interactive CLI for the haproxy
Unix socket. This allows administrators to control the given haproxy
instance (change server weight, put servers into maintenance mode,
etc.) directly out of hatop (using keybinds or the CLI) and monitor the
results immediately.
pcpustat provides per-cpu usage statistics in a format that can be piped.
pdixtract converts Pinnacle Disk Images (i.e. .pdi file sets) to ISO9660 files
or extracts files from the file sets.
