CDCollect is a CD/DVD catalog application for gnome.
It's goal is to be able to catalog your entire CD collection allowing for
searches of your CD/DVD files with a clean and simple interface.
Features:
* Easy to use interface.
* Allow the use of plugins (external programs) to collect information for
each file of a CD in your catalog.
* Searches can be performed on CDs or files in the collection.
* It also catalogs compressed files
(using external programs such as unzip, unrar, etc.).
This program sits at the back and listens for the "special" hotkeys that
you won't normally use on your internet/Multimedia keyboards.
The buttons perform their intended behaviors, such as volume up and down,
mute the speaker, launch applications, etc.
NOTE: CDROM & APM features have been disabled

CMatrix - show a scrolling 'Matrix' like screen (curses based)
CMatrix by default operates in 'eye candy' mode. It must be aborted with
control-c. If you wish for more of a 'screen saver' effect, you must
specify -s on the command line. For usage, use cmatrix -h.
If you have any suggestions/flames/patches to send, please feel free to
do so. Please do not critique my code, I know I'm a hack ;-) I just got
the urge to write this one evening, and decided to see how fast I could do
it. It's probably not particularly portable or efficient, but I'm pretty
sure it wont hog *too* much CPU time.
This software is provided under the GNU GPL. I am in no way affiliated
in any way with the movie 'The Matrix', just a big fan.

Services_Weather searches for given locations and retrieves current
weather data and, dependent on the used service, also forecasts. Up to
now, GlobalWeather from CapeScience, Weather XML from EJSE (US only),
a XOAP service from Weather.com and METAR from noaa.gov are supported.
Further services will get included, if they become available, have a
usable API and are properly documented.
