Spamcup is a tool for automatic spam reporting via Spamcop.net.
It performs the same actions as if you were to report spam to
spamcop.net with a Web browser, but from the commandline.
Spamcup is written in Perl.
Human friendly curses interface for spamdb(8) to manage addresses for the
whitelist/greylist.
Note: This is for OpenBSD's spamd(8), which has absolutely nothing to do with
SpamAssasin's spamd.
It's simple, and "just works" ... What more is there to say?
Esmtp is a wrapper for SMTP client library based on the libESMTP library
(http://www.stafford.uklinux.net/libesmtp/). You can use it to send messages
using internal SASL, and external/openssl SSL support.
spamdyke is a filter for monitoring and intercepting SMTP
connections between a remote host and a qmail server. Spam
is blocked while the remote server (spammer) is still
connected; no additional processing or storage is needed.
In addition to all of its anti-spam filters, spamdyke also
includes a number of features to enhance qmail.
Best of all, using spamdyke does not require patching or
recompiling qmail!
Metamail is an implementation of MIME, the Multipurpose Internet
Mail Extensions, a proposed standard for multimedia mail on the Internet.
Metamail implements MIME, and also implements extensibility and
configuration via the "mailcap" mechanism described in an informational
RFC that is a companion to the MIME document.
SQLgrey is a postfix policy service implementing a grey-listing policy.
SQLgrey is written in Perl and uses DBI to access an SQL database.
Its goal is reducing the SPAM reaching user mailboxes
Xlbiff lets you preview new mail to decide if you want to read it
immediately. Regular xbiff lets you know when you have mail but not what
it is.
Xlbiff lurks in the background, monitoring your mailbox file. When
something shows up there, it invokes the scanCommand (MH's scan by
default), and displays the output in a window. If more mail comes in, it
scans again and resizes accordingly.
If you're a Berkeley mail person, you can set scanCommand to:
echo x | mail | grep "^.[NU]"
Or use the ``frm'' utility that is part of the Elm port as your
scanCommand. A simular utility is the ``fromwho'' package, posted to
comp.sources.unix volume 25.
This is XMAILWATCHER, which periodically checks a user's mailbox. If
there is mail, the user is notified either by a changing icon, or by a
list of senders and subjects in an X object.
Sieve Mail Filters for Squirrelmail (avelsieve) is a plugin for
creating server-side filtering scripts on RFC 3028 compliant servers
including Cyrus IMAP, DBMail, Dovecote and Exim 4.x.
Changes the name of the input form field on the login screen so that newer
browsers have an almost impossible time trying to remember your name and
password. Use this if you want extra security or the majority of your users
use public terminals.
