Curses based network interface monitoring tool
Nifmon is a curses-based tool for FreeBSD which can be used to monitor network
interfaces (also tun devices).
It displays continously updated statistics for the following quantities:
- total amount of bytes/packets transferred in/out
- bytes/packets transferred in/out during the last second/minute/hour
- a stripped down tcpdump output
You will need super-user permissions in order to use nifmon.
Execute a command with safely quoted arguments
unquote executes a command after unquoting a specified list of arguments,
so that arbitrary characters may be passed in command-line arguments.
Simple http server for static content
This is a simple http server for purely static content. You can
use it to serve the content of a ftp server via http for example.
It is also nice to export some files quickly by starting an http
server in a few seconds without editing a config file first.

* single process: select() + non-blocking I/O
* automatically generates directory listings when asked for a
directory (check for index.html available as option), caches
the listings.
* no config file, just a few switches. Try "webfsd -h" for a
list.
* Uses ${PREFIX}/etc/webfsd/mime.types to map file extentions
to mime/types (not included).
* supports keep-alive and pipelined requests.
* serves byte ranges.
* optional logging in common log file format.

Aclgen is a tool to create minimal length ip access lists
and aggregated routing tables primarily for Cisco routers.
Aclgen is fast. It takes only 15 seconds to create a 17000 line
long access list for some 44000 entries of my routing table.
Aclgen is flexible. It accepts various input formats and
you can specify any output format by a printf like format-string.
Aclgen is intended to use in large scripts creating router
configuration from different databases.
Any contribution is welcome. Send me your script using aclgen.

CPU identification utility
This is a fairly complete CPU identification utility. It has been tested on
