srvx is a set of IRC services for ircu P10 protocol networks; it is
developed by a team of programmers affiliated with the GameSurge IRC
Network. srvx is designed to be a fast, extensible, scalable, and
reliable provider of NickServ, ChanServ, HelpServ, OperServ, and Global
services as well as advanced proxy detection.
CWirc is a plugin for the X-Chat IRC client to transmit raw morse code
over the internet using IRC servers as reflectors. The transmitted morse
code can be received in near real-time by other X-Chat clients with the CWirc
plugin. CWirc tries to emulate a standard amateur radio rig : it sends and
receives morse over virtual channels, and it can listen to multiple senders
transmitting on the same channel. Morse code is keyed locally using a
straight or iambic key connected to a serial port, or using the mouse buttons,
and the sound is played through the soundcard, or through an external sounder.
bopm is an open-source proxy monitor, designed for use
with IRC daemons such as Bahamut, Hybrid/ratbox, Unreal,
Dancer, and any other which supports +c to show client
connects to opers; bopm will KLINE clients it considers
on an open proxy. bopm also supports DNSBL lookups.
This is a package of Infobot, by Kevin Lenzo
The infobot connects to an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server, joins
some channels (maybe), and begins accumulating factoids. To run one,
download the source, uncompress it, untar it, edit the config files,
and it up.
The default install dir is /usr/local/share/infobot-0.xx.x since it
doesn't really belong in the Perl tree, by default. If you want
it installed elsewhere,use the -p option to change the PREFIX.

ScrollZ is an IRC client based on ircII with many enhancements (colors,
userlists, enhanced scripting, and more). The main difference from
other clients is that it implements many useful features that you would
normally find in a script, thus making it faster than such scripts
paired up with ircII.
It also has many unique features, such as three-line status bars, CDCC
(which has reget/resend ability), and its environment is highly
customizable.
I could not find a client with the features I was looking for, so yes,
here is yet another IRC client. Here's what makes it different from
others:
* absolutely NO scripting ability.
* termcap based (e.g. fast!).
* emacs-style key bindings
* full ircd 2.9+ support.
* virtual windows a la screen(1).
* multi server support.
* non blocking TCP connections.
* basic support for multi-homed systems.
* everything goes and stays in the lastlog.
* convenient scrolling (with searching abilities) in the lastlog.
* 10 display filters! (2 ignore features are based on this).
* highly customizable. (format strings, filters..)
* customization possible at every level (channel, window, server..).
* non blocking DNS lookups (A and PTR records).
* "tabkey" style completion for /msg, /squery and public discussion.
* DCC support.
* CTCP support.

Bitlbee plugin based on the Facebook mobile client - which uses the MQTT
protocol - that also supports group chats.
EPIC4 is a new direction in ircII development. No longer is EPIC 100%
backwards compatible with ircII, but instead those things where
compatibility is undesirable have been found and fixed. No gratuitous
incompatibilities have been added, but lots of new code has been added to
make EPIC the best ircII client available.
EPIC no longer shares any file names with ircII, so they should happily
co-exist.
