Xjewel is a dropping block game akin to tetris. It is played by controlling the motion of blocks which continue to fall from the top of the screen. One can move them left and right, as well as rotate the jewel segments. The object is to get the most points before the grim reaper ends the fun. Death happens when the screen is no longer capable of holding any more blocks. To make high scores more interesting, you are given but three attempts to get points -- use them wisely. As the game progresses, and more jewels are removed, the speed of the game will increase. This is measured in seconds of delay between steps of block motion.

X Labyrinth is a labyrinth game under X11 that is played directly with the mouse pointer: the walls block the pointer's movement on the screen. The goal of the game is to retrieve the four colored squares: to retrieve a square, it is sufficient to move the pointer over it, and it will disappear. However, to make things more infuriating, the squares have to be taken in the following order: red, yellow, green and blue. When the blue square is obtained, the game is won.

XAtaxx is a strategy game based on Ataxx, a popular arcade video game. It is a game of position and movement. The object is to have the most pieces of your color on the board at the end of the game.

A virus so powerful that it has the power to transmute an ordinary computer into a toaster oven. (oooh!) 'Lennart' has cloned himself into a billion-jillion micro-Lenns. Their sole purpose is to deliver the nefarious virus, which has been cleverly diguised as a popularinit system. As System Administrator/Exterminator, your job is to keep Lennart from succeeding at his task.

XLogical is an action/puzzle game based on the classic game Logical from Rainbow Arts.

The computer calculates a combination of five characters (each between A and J) and you have to try to find out the combination the computer has calculated. Your questions to the computer are also combinations of five characters (each between A and J). You get sets of black and/or white blocks as answers to your questions. If you get a black block as answer it means that there is one character in your try at the correct position (but you don't know which one it is). If you get a white block as answer it means that there is a character in your guess that also occurs in the solution, but at another position (but you don't know which one it is and at which position it would be correct).

xmine is an X11-based version of the popular PC game Minesweeper. The object is to place flags on mines on the game board without exposing them. xmine is freely redistributable. It's mostly Xlib-based, but it requires Motif libraries for the menus. === This version of xmine is based on Paul Falstad's version 1.0.3, as published in comp.sources.x. It has been heavily munged to work without OSF/Motif. Since the game itself has some 3D look, linking against the famous Xaw3d library is highly recommended.
