This plugin displays the current keyboard layout, and refreshes when
layout changes. Also the layout can be switched by simply clicking on
the plugin. The new version can display the layout as text label and
also as an image of the corresponding country's flag. If the flag
image is unavailable then the plugin falls back to displaying text
label for that layout.
This plugin is used along with the XKB extension. For now the keyboard
layouts cannot be configured from the plugin itself, they should be
set in the Xorg file or some other way (e.g. setxkbmap).
In-place converter of text typed in with a wrong keyboard layout. When users
work in multilingual environment (e.g. Russian+English), they sometimes type
in text with wrong keyboard layout. In auto mode XNeur can automatically
detect language of a word user typed, switch keyboard layout and convert the
word from one keyboard layout into another. In manual mode user has ability
to convert last typed word or some selected text using hot keys. The idea of
this utility is similar to Punto Switcher for Windows. For now XNeur support
English, Russian, Ukrainian, Belarusian, French, Romanian, Bulgarian, Czech,
Greek, Estonian, Armenian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Poland, Spanish and Uzbek
languages.
xpad is a sticky note application written using GTK+ 3.0 that strives to be
simple, fault-tolerant, and customizable. xpad consists of independent pad
windows; each is basically a text box in which notes can be written. Despite
being called xpad, all that is needed to run or compile it is the GTK+ 3.0
libraries. Here is a list of major features in the current xpad current
release:
* GTK+ 3.0 powered text view.
* Fault tolerant. All information is kept on the hard drive, not memory.
* xpad is very customizable. The color scheme (text, background, and window
borders) and the font can be changed.
* A customizable toolbar puts the most frequently used commands at your
fingertips.
* Support for the X session management protocol.
* Support for the www.freedesktop.org system tray proposal.
Rolo is a tool for the Sun workstation which presents a
user interface to a simple database of notes in a manner
which approximates a Rolodex file.
Each note in your Rolo file is meant to simulate a 3x5
card upon which you may scribble anything you like. You
can have any number of cards in your rolodex, Rolo will
keep track of them for you. You may browse around through
them, create new ones, throw old ones away, search for
strings in them, etc.

Xwrits reminds you to take wrist breaks for prevention or management of
repetitive stress injuries. When you should take a break, it pops up an
X window, the warning window. You click on the warning window, then
take a break. The window changes appearance while you take the break.
it changes again when your break is over. Then you just resume typing.
Xwrits hides itself until you should take another break.
The typetime option changes the amount of time between breaks, and the
breaktime option changes the length of a break. The defaults are 55
minutes and 5 minutes, respectively.
Zim - A Desktop Wiki Editor
Zim is a graphical text editor used to maintain a collection of wiki
pages. Each page can contain links to other pages, simple formatting and
images. Pages are stored in a folder structure, like in an outliner, and
can have attachments. Creating a new page is as easy as linking to a
nonexistent page. All data is stored in plain text files with wiki
formatting. Various plugins provide additional functionality, like a
task list manager, an equation editor, a tray icon, and support for
version control.
Zim can be used to:
* Keep an archive of notes
* Take notes during meetings or lectures
* Organize task lists
* Draft blog entries and emails
* Do brainstorming
The program allows you to set up a tree of actions starting
from an (invisible) root and going down to as many levels as you
specify. Associated with each action is a descriptive note, a done/
not done flag, an optional priority and an optional completion date
(more to come). Zorro stores your to-do list in the file ~/.zorrodb
and it reads the file ~/.zorrorc on startup. There are quite a lot of
configurable items - look at the file DOTzorrorc for further details.
This daemon is responsible of making the volume up/down and mute keys of
the keyboard work automatically. It uses PulseAudio for chosing which
card/sink/track to act on.
This is a fork of the original xfce4-volumed to drop GStreamer support
and use PulseAudio instead.
