zdaemon is a Python package which provides APIs for managing applications run as daemons. Its principal use to date has been to manage the application server and storage server daemons for Zope / ZEO, although it is not limited to running Python-based applications (for instance, it has been used to manage the 'spread' daemon).

QuickSynergy is a graphical interface (GUI) for easily configuring Synergy2, an application that allows the user to share his mouse and keyboard between two or more computers. Without the need for any external hardware, Synergy2 uses the TCP-IP protocol to share the resources, even between machines with diferent operating systems, such as Mac OS, Linux and Windows.

osquery exposes an operating system as a high-performance relational database. This allows you to write SQL-based queries to explore operating system data. With osquery, SQL tables represent abstract concepts such as running processes, loaded kernel modules, open network connections, browser plugins, hardware events or file hashes.

rsnapshot is a filesystem snapshot utility based on rsync(1). rsnapshot makes it easy to make periodic snapshots of local machines, and remote machines over ssh. The code makes extensive use of hard links whenever possible, to greatly reduce the disk space required. It is written entirely in perl with no module dependencies, and has been tested with versions 5.004 through 5.8.1.

The tmpwatch utility recursively searches through specified directories and removes files which have not been accessed in a specified period of time. Tmpwatch is normally used to clean up directories which are used for temporarily holding files (for example, /tmp). Tmpwatch ignores symlinks, won't switch filesystems and only removes empty directories and regular files.

FreeFileSync is a free Open Source software that helps you synchronize files and synchronize folders for Windows, Linux, FreeBSD and Mac OS X. It is designed to save your time setting up and running backup jobs while having nice visual feedback along the way.

wmcube-gdk is a modified version of wmCube that features much faster redraws, significantly lower CPU usage, ability to specify color for both flat-shaded and wireframe objects, and transparent CPU load / zoom buttons. The roll in sequence of the original wmCube has been removed.

WMMemFree shows system memory usage. It runs as a dockapp for window manager like WindowMaker or some other which supports dockapps. On the top side you have your physical memory usage and on the bottom there is your swap space usage.

Tcplist makes a list of TCP connections to and from the local machine, displaying the user name associated with the local end, and making use of Ident services if available to determine the "user" at the other end. Tcplist uses LSOF to do its low level work on 4.4BSD machines.
