Horde Logging package with configurable handlers, filters, and formatting.

This package provides a Virtual File System API, with backends for: * SQL * FTP * Local filesystems * Hybrid SQL and filesystem * Samba * SSH2/SFTP * IMAP (Kolab) Reading, writing and listing of files are all supported, and there are both object-based and array-based interfaces to directory listings.

This package provides basic support to localize your application, like locale based formatting of dates, numbers and currencies. Beside that it attempts to provide an OS independent way to setlocale() and aims to provide language and country names translated into many languages.

This program is used to send multiple system commands to a group of UNIX-like remote servers simultaneously using concurrent processes. Supported protocols: FTP, SFTP, TELNET, SSH and SCP. With telnet and ssh all system command are supported provided that they are not interactive. Its main usage is to send repetitive sysadmin tasks to a group of servers but you can also use it for automatic ftp or scp backup and much more. Commands are exactly those you type on your terminal. It also allow you to use 'su -' to execute your commands under the TELNET and SSH protocols.

mcelog processes machine checks (in particular memory and CPU hardware errors) on modern x86-based Unix systems and produces human-readable output. This software is heavily patched to work on FreeBSD systems, and thus provides an extremely limited subset of features as of this writing (for example, daemon mode is not currently supported). The primary purpose is to provide a way to decode MCE output from the FreeBSD kernel into something more human-readable using the command 'mcelog --no-dmi --ascii'. FreeBSD conversion patches were originally written by John Baldwin <jhb@freebsd.org> and later incorporated into this port.

This class provides an easy way to retrieve all the strings for a multilingual site from a data source (i.e. db). The following containers are provided, more will follow: - PEAR::DB - PEAR::MDB - PEAR::MDB2 - gettext - XML - PEAR::DB_DataObject (experimental) It is designed to reduce the number of queries to the db, caching the results when possible. An Admin class is provided to easily manage translations (add/remove a language, add/remove a string). Currently, the following decorators are provided: - CacheLiteFunction (for file-based caching) - CacheMemory (for memory-based caching) - DefaultText (to replace empty strings with their keys) - Iconv (to switch from/to different encodings) - Lang (resort to fallback languages for empty strings) - SpecialChars (replace html entities with their hex codes) - UTF-8 (to convert UTF-8 strings to ISO-8859-1)

The Python ZFS library is a Python interface to ZFS functions. Since ZFS v15, the following functionality of the "zfs" command requires this library and the pyzfs utility: zfs allow zfs unallow zfs userspace zfs groupspace

Qt4 frontend to PolicyKit.

qchroot is a csh script for simplified administration of chroots on a host system. This is a viable alternate to jail(8) when jail(8) is too restrictive. This runs on RELEASE-9.3 and all newer RELEASES. The chroot filesystem shares a single copy of the system binaries which is mounted nullfs "read only" to the named chroot container filesystem. This provides 2 levels of security protection which is better than chroot by its self.

Polkit-KDE-agent provides a graphical authentication prompt so non-priviledged users can authenticate themselves for performing administrative tasks in KDE Workspaces.
