The Environment Modules package provides for the dynamic modification
of a user's environment via modulefiles.
Monit is a utility for managing and monitoring processes,
files, directories, devices and network services on a Unix system.
Monit conducts automatic maintenance and repair and can execute
meaningful causal actions in error situations.
monit supports:
* Daemon mode - poll services at a specified interval
* Group and manage groups of services, service dependencies
* Logging - syslog or own logfile
* Alert, start, stop and restart of services based on it's characteristics
* MD5 and SHA1 checksums
* Runtime Unix socket and TCP/IP port checking (TCP and UDP)
* Process status, timeout, memory and cpu usage, etc.
* Device usage monitoring (inodes and space)
* File monitoring (timestamp, checksum, permission, owner, etc.)
* Directory monitoring (timestamp, permission, owner, etc.)
* Remote network services monitoring (ping, response time, protocol, etc.)
* System load average monitoring
* Flexible and customizable email alert messages and notifications
* Protocol verification such as HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, NNTP, NTP, etc.
* A HTTP interface with XML output option

jail2 is an alternative rc script for jails, relying on jail.conf
instead of rc.conf variables. Additionally, ZFS integration is provided.
In contrast to the default jail rc script this one can run inside jails,
allowing the configuration of hierarchical jails.
MooseFS is a Fault tolerant, High Available, Highly Performing, Scale-Out,
network distributed file system. It spreads data over several physical commodity
servers, which are visible to the user as one resource.
For standard file operations MooseFS acts like any other Unix-like file system.
This port provides: MooseFS master (metadata) server.
Jaildaemon provides services for a fixed command-line interface between
FreeBSD jails and their host system
jailme is a modified version of FreeBSD's jexec.
This version is installed setuid and does some sanity checking
to ensure the username and UID match between the jail and the
host system.
LCDproc controls various LCD and VFD devices in a standardized way, and
ships with a client to display various system statistics like CPU load,
system load, memory usage, uptime, and a lot more. Client/server model
allows multiple clients to use one display.
Farbot automates building of netinstall/PXE boot FreeBSD releases. It features a
simple configuration file based on the concept of "Installations",
"PackageSets", and "PartitionMaps."
Farbot currently handles the following:
* Building FreeBSD releases, including grabbing any source needed.
* Building packages for each release, derived from per installation package
sets.
* Laying out an NFS/TFTP exportable file system structure for all built
releases, customized for each installation type.
* Generation of a customized bootloader with options to install each
installation type
FDUPES is a program for identifying or deleting duplicate files residing within
specified directories.
