Tempest for Eliza is a program that uses your computer monitor to send out AM radio signals. You can then hear computer generated music in your radio. It teaches you that your computer can be observed. Tempest for Eliza works with every monitor, every resolution.

terminatorX is a realtime audio synthesizer that allows you to "scratch" on digitally sampled audio data (*.wav, *.au, *.mp3, etc.) the way hiphop-DJs scratch on vinyl records. It features multiple turntables, realtime effects (built-in as well as LADSPA plugin effects), a sequencer and an easy-to-use gtk+ GUI.

VisualOn AAC encoder library This library contains an encoder implementation of the Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) audio codec. The library is based on a codec implementation by VisualOn as part of the Stagefright framework from the Google Android project.

VisualOn AMR-WB encoder library This library contains an encoder implementation of the Adaptive Multi Rate Wideband (AMR-WB) audio codec. The library is based on a codec implementation by VisualOn as part of the Stagefright framework from the Google Android project.

Timemachine is a JACK audio recorder that allows you to record 10 seconds of audio _before_ you click the "Record" button. The idea is that, when you hear an interesting sound, you can press record and capture it, without having to try and recreate it.

TiMidity++ is a MIDI player without external MIDI instruments. This can also convert MIDI files to various formatted audio files (ex. wav, au, etc..). In addition to this port, "Gravis Ultra Sound" compatible patch files (or SF2 format SoundFont) are required to play files. Formerly, the original version of this program was written by Tuuka Toivonen(until version 0.2i). Now, Masanao Izumo and many hackers are developing "TiMidity++".

TiMidity is a software synthesizer. It can play MIDI files by converting them into PCM waveform data; give it a MIDI data along with digital instrument data files, then it synthesizes them in real-time, and plays. It can not only play sounds, but also can save the generated waveforms into hard disks as various audio file formats. TiMidity 0.2i was written by Tuukka Toivonen <tt@cgs.fi> in 1995. No new version of this project has been released since then. Development has been continued by Masanao Izumo et al. in the new project named TiMidity++ (audio/timidity++).

tosha reads CD-DA (digital audio) and CD-XA (digital video) tracks and writes them to the hard disk. Several audio formats are supported: raw PCM (little-endian and big-endian byte order), WAV / RIFF, AIFF and Sun AU. You can also pipe the data directly into an audio or video player. A simple audio player is included ("pcmplay"). To playback VideoCD data, you need a third-party product, for example MpegTV (see http://www.mpegtv.com/). tosha reads the digital audio / video data through the SCSI bus; therefore it does not work with IDE/ATAPI CD-ROM drives nor with proprietary interfaces.
