ViewKlass is a C++ framework for developing applications which use the
LessTif, OpenMotif or OSF/Motif[TM] user interface toolkits. In particular
it provides classes which support the creation of reusable components. This
helps to simplify the development of applications using object-oriented
techniques.
It also provides classes which encapsulate some of the more difficult and
tedious aspects of Motif development. These include classes which handle
the creation of windows, dialogs and menus.
bbkeys is the keygrabber for the Blackbox window manager: bbkeys handles all
keybindings and keyboard shortcuts for Blackbox. It uses Blackbox' Image
classes for rendering its look and feel so that bbkeys will render itself to
match whatever Blackbox style is used. It is highly configurable either via
the "bbconf" GUI utility or by hand-editting bbkeys's config file.
bbpager is a pager tool for Blackbox, it uses KDE wm-hints to get the
information from Blackbox.
Blackbox is the fast, lightweight window manager for the X Window System you
have been looking for, without all those annoying dependencies. It is built
with C++ and contains completely original code (even though the graphics
implementation is similar to that of Window Maker).
Blackbox is written to the NetWM specification, which allows integration with
modern desktop managers including KDE and Gnome.
The port also provides root window changing tools, bsetroot and bsetbg, that
can be installed alone, without the window manager and accompanying files.
Clementine is based on aewm. It has title bars, iconizing, and
styles. It is still in an early stage of development.
lxsession is a standard-compliant X11 session manager with
shutdown/reboot/suspend supports via HAL and gdm.
Golem is an X11 Window Manager. Design goals are that it be fast
and lightweight, as well as customizable in any way that will not
prevent the first goal from being realized.
LXMenuEditor is a small, simple, free, open source, easy to use application
that allows you to customize the LXDE menu.
LXMenuEditor is very useful for people that want to create their own,
customized menus for LXDE.
This editor can also be used to customize GNOME's main menu and menus
of other enviroments, although it's specially designed for the LXDE environment.
OBPager is a lightweight pager designed
to be used with NetWM-compliant window
managers like OpenBox.
Unlike many other pagers out there,
OBPager has very few dependencies,
requiring only Xlib and glibc++
(no Gnome or KDE necessary).
Plank is an elegant, simple and clean dock.
