This is a port of the ircd-ratbox IRC daemon.
ircd-ratbox is the primary ircd used on EFnet; it combines the stability
of an ircd required for a large production network together with a rich
set of features, making it also suitable for use on smaller networks.
Changes Include:
o Optional SSL support to enable encrypted connections between clients
and servers, as well as server to server links.
o Add support for SSL only channels, channel mode +S.
o sqlite3 for handling and storing k/x/d lines.
o Support for global CIDR limits.
o Added adminwall allowing admins to broadcast messages to each other.
o Creation of new library archive 'libratbox'.
o Support for forced nick changes (instead of collision kills).
o New ssld and bandb processes for SSL connections and ban checking;
these allow ratbox-3 to make better use of multi-processor systems.
[ excerpt from developer's web site with modifications ]
Mircryption is a free encryption add-on for the popular irc clients
mIRC and XChat. Features:
- Channel text, Private query windows, DCC Chats, Actions, Topics can
all be encrypted. All crypto-related algorithms used are taken from
published, common, trusted sources. Encryption algorithm is Blowfish
(no known vulnerabilities); encryption keys are themselves stored
in encrypted form.
- Supports CBC mode encryption.
- No need to modify the way you work - text is encrypted and decrypted
automatically; encryption status of conversations is clear but
unobtrusive.
- User-friendly key management routines; menu driven and easy to
temporarily disable & re-enable encryption on a channel, send plain
text quicky, etc.

gseen.mod
gseen works similar to countless seen scripts. It logs for each user
when he or she was last seen in the channel and makes this information
publically available. It takes switching nick names into consideration
and supports wildcards in search-requests.
The advantage of gseen in contrast to most other seen scripts is it's speed.
gseen can handle databases of several thousand nicks without a lag in seen
requests. It also supports several languages.
This is a port of the ircd-ratbox IRC daemon.
This version is the 'testing' branch; it usually contains more features,
but may contain as of yet unidentified bugs. Admins wishing to try out new
features or test the development release may prefer to use it over the
standard production release.

Gruftistats is a program which reads your IRC logs and turns them into
a web page. This has a mixture of statistics (like who talked most),
and amusing facts (like who got kicked most).
It supports a variety of log formats already, and can be extended to
support other log formats by writing a spec file describing the
format.
