libNSS-PostgreSQL allows you to authenticate UNIX groups and users
using a PostgreSQL database. It uses the NSS API which provides an
abstraction layer between the UNIX authentication API and the related
data. NSS-PostgreSQL currently supports the passwd and groups services.

The present program is a simple TeX interface for the X Window System based on
"wish", respectively Tcl/Tk.
geteltorito is a small Perl script which will extract
(and display information about) an El Torito boot image
from a real CD or a CD image. This helps you modify the boot
image when you want to burn a modified version of the CD in question.

xinput 1.x by Frederic Lepied
xinput is an utility I have built to configure and test my XInput
devices. The functionalities aren't complete but they fill my
needs. If you have some ideas or needs for improvement, feel free to
contact me. Any feedback welcome.
From the original README:
Xmon interactively monitors the byte-stream connections between an X
server and a number of X clients. Xmon recognises all requests,
events, errors and replies sent between the clients and the server
which are part of the core X protocol. The contents of these messages
are displayed on standard output at a user settable degree of detail
from none to every bit and byte. Xmon also allows the user to select
a number of requests or events to be monitored at a different degree
of detail. Xmon will also block the transmission of selected requests
from the clients to the server and selected events from the server to
the clients. Xmon also keeps statistics of the number of requests,
events, and errors received.
ck4up is a small command-line utility, written in ruby. ck4up scans through a
configuration file, fetches the listed URLs from the web, computes the md5sum
of the page, and compares the value with the ones stored in a gdbm database.
If both differ, a message will be written to the standard output.
sitecopy is for copying locally stored websites to remote web servers.
The program will upload files to the server which have changed locally,
and delete files from the server which have been removed locally, to keep
the remote site synchronized with the local site, with a single command.
The aim is to remove the hassle of uploading and deleting individual files
using an FTP client. sitecopy will also optionally try to spot files you move
locally, and move them remotely.
sitecopy is designed to not care about what is actually on the remote
server - it simply keeps a record of what it THINKS is in on the remote
server, and works from that. WebDAV can be used to maintain remote sites
as well as FTP.
