The xcb-util module provides a number of libraries which sit on top of
libxcb, the core X protocol library, and some of the extension
libraries. These experimental libraries provide convenience functions
and interfaces which make the raw X protocol more usable. Some of the
libraries also provide client-side code which is not strictly part of
the X protocol but which have traditionally been provided by Xlib.
Keysyms module is the Starndard X key constants and conversions to/from
keycodes.
This package contains xbrightness, a commandline tool for altering the
brightness (and optionally gamma) through the X server.
PDCurses is a public domain curses library for Win32, DOS, OS/2 and X11,
implementing most of the functions available in System V R4 curses. It
supports most compilers for these platforms. The X11 port allows existing
text-mode curses programs to be re-compiled and linked with PDCurses to
produce native X11 applications.
FreePWING generates book data of JIS X 4081 format. Almost part of
the software is written in Perl 5 (perl 5.005 or later is required).
Since JIS X 4081 is subset of EPWING V1, EPWING viewer applications
can also read JIS X 4081 book data generated by FreePWING.
This package is used by lang/gnatdroid to install the system root of
Android 4.4 to 5.0 (API Level 19 to API Level 23) of the x86 architecture.
The x86 cross-tools are built using these files, which in turn is required
for the GNAT FreeBSD->Android(x86) cross-compiler that is gnatdroid.
X File Explorer (Xfe) is an MS-Explorer like file manager for X.
It is based on the popular, but discontinued, X Win Commander,
which was developed by Maxim Baranov.
Xfe aims to be the file manager of choice for all the Unix addicts!
sisctrl is a gtk-2.x based tool for the XFree86/X.org SiS ("sis")
driver to tune the display parameters during X server run-time. Among
other features, it allows switching and changing output devices, tuning
TV output, gamma correction and Xv (hardware video) properties. It also
supports switching the display mode and resizing the desktop using the
RandR extension.
Plan is a schedule planner based on X/Motif. It displays a month calendar
similar to xcal, but every day box is large enough to show appointments in
small print. By pressing on a day box, the appointments for that day can be
listed and edited.
This port requires Motif or equivalent to build.
A port of an extremely powerful FTE editor that was
originally developed for OS/2 and ported by its author,
Marko Macek, to X11/UNIX.
Among other features it supports syntax highlighting,
compiler invocation and error parsing and folds.

Zoinks is a programmer's editor and development environment for Unix/X11
systems. The editor has features similar to Mac text editors like MPW
and CodeWarrior. It also has some features for HTML authoring. Zoinks
supports comparing/diffing files and directory hierarchies. It also
supports inputting and editing multi-byte text (e.g. Japanese and other
Asian languages).
