Ubic is a flexible perl-based service manager.

This is a port of Unix::Lsof, a perl wrapper around the UNIX lsof command.

This package provides accessors to per-processor (CPU) information. The object is obtained with the Unix::Processors::processors call. the operating system in a OS independent manner.

Ptools is a toolset based on Solaris ptools functionality. At this time, four tools are provided: * pargs - Display process arguments * pldd - Display dynamic linker dependencies * pwdx - Display process working directory * ptree - Display process hierarchy as tree (with jail option -j)

This provides the required module for managing crontabs stored in ZConf. Scripts to use thoseare also included. The utility zccron is a single pass cron utilitie. zccron - Runs crontabs stored in ZConf. zccrontab - Manage crontabs stored in ZConf. gzccrontab - Invokes GUI editor for installed crontabs.

puppet-mode.el is a major Emacs mode for editing puppet manifests.

arclog archives the log files monthly. It strips off log entries that belongs to previous months, and then compresses and saves them to archived files named logfile.yyyymm.gz. Currently, arclog supports Apache access log, Syslog, NTP, Apache 1 SSL engine log and my own bracketed, modified ISO date/time log file formats, and gzip and bzip2 compression methods. Several software projects log (or can log) in a format compatible with the Apache access log, like CUPS, ProFTPD, Pure-FTPd... etc., and arclog can archive their Apache-like log files, too.

reslog resolves IPs in Apache(8) log files. The result can then be analyzed by another program, like Analog. You can think of it as a replacement of the Apache(8) HostNameLookups directive, in the sense that it resolves client IPs altogether once a day. Resolving takes long time. This is mainly caused by resolving: Network packets may be filtered by firewalls; DNS servers may not be correctly configured; may not be up working; may sit in slow network sections; may be old slow machines; may have traffic jam... etc. All these reasons are out of our control.

Pipe Viewer (pv) is a terminal-based tool for monitoring the progress of data through a pipeline. It can be inserted into any normal pipeline between two processes to give a visual indication of how quickly data is passing through, how long it has taken, how near to completion it is, and an estimate of how long it will be until completion.

pwd_unmkdb is a program to do the opposite of pwd_mkdb(8). That is, to give you a textual master.passwd file from a hashed spwd.db database. Useful if you delete or corrupt master.passwd, and don't have an up-to-date backup.
