Colt is a package for scalable scientific and technical computing in Java. It
consists of several free Java libraries, for user convenience bundled under one
single uniform umbrella. Namely the Colt library, the Jet library, the CoreJava
library, and the Concurrent library.
The Colt library provides fundamental general-purpose data structures optimized
for numerical data, such as resizable arrays, dense and sparse matrices
(multi-dimensional arrays), linear algebra, associative containers and buffer
management.
CRF++ is a simple, customizable, and open source
implementation of Conditional Random Fields (CRFs)
for segmenting/labeling sequential data. CRF++ is
designed for generic purpose and will be applied to
a variety of NLP tasks, such as Named Entity Recognition,
Information Extraction and Text Chunking.
DeViSoR is abbreviated for "Design and Visualization of Software Resource". The
DeViSoRGrid application is part of that software family and is primarily used
for the following tasks, so far in 2D only:
* Geometry generation
* Manual coarse mesh generation
* Grid visualisation at all levels
All of this can be done in a very confortable manner using a simple point and
click interface like in common vector-based image processing software. Both the
reliable FEAT file format and the new FEAST format with integrated parallelism
are supported.
This plugin extends the RESTful API of Orthanc with WADO and DICOMweb
support.
DL_POLY is a general purpose classical molecular dynamics (MD) simulation
software developed at Daresbury Laboratory by I.T. Todorov and W. Smith.
ECS means "Enveloppe Code Saturne".
This is the preprocessor used by the Code_Saturne and NEPTUNE_CDF codes.
FastCap computes self and mutual capacitances between ideal
conductors of arbitrary shapes, orientations and sizes.
The conductors can be embedded in a dielectric region composed
of any number of constant-permittivity regions of any shape and
size.
The algorithm used in FastCap is an acceleration of the
boundary-element technique for solving the integral equation
associated with the multiple-conductor, multiple-dielectric
capacitance extraction problem. The linear system resulting
from the boundary-element discretization is solved using a
generalized conjugate residual algorithm with a fast multipole
algorithm to efficiently compute the iterates.

This version of fastcap has been cleaned up and enhanced by Stephen R.

FisicaLab (can be pronounced as PhysicsLab) is an educational application to
solve physics problems. Its main objective is let the user to focus in physics
concepts, leaving aside the mathematical details (FisicaLab take care of them).
This allows the user to become familiar with the physical concepts without
running the risk of getting lost in mathematical details. And so, when the user
gain confidence in applying physical concepts, will be better prepared to solve
the problems by hand (with pen and paper). The latest release of FisicaLab have
the following modules:
- Kinematics of particles 2D.
- Circular kinematics of particles 2D.
- Static of particles 2D.
- Static of rigid bodies 2D.
- Dynamics of particles 2D.
- Circular dynamics of particles 2D.
- Heat, calorimetry, ideal gas and expansion.
FVCOM is a prognostic, unstructured-grid, finite-volume, free-surface,
3-D primitive equation coastal ocean circulation model developed
by UMASSD-WHOI joint efforts.
