texvc takes LaTeX-compatible equations and produces formatted output in
HTML, MathML, and (via LaTeX/dvips/ImageMagick) rasterized PNG images.
Input data is parsed and scrutinized for safety, and the output includes
an estimate of whether the code is simple enough that HTML rendering will
look acceptable.
TransFig is a set of tools for creating TeX documents with graphics
which are portable, in the sense that they can be printed in a wide
variety of environments.
Drivers currently exist for the following graphics languages:
AutoCad slide, BOX, (E)EPIC macros, LaTeX picture environment,
PIC, PiCTeX, PNG, PostScript, Encapsulated Postscript, GIF,
IBM-GL, JPEG, PCX, MF (METAFONT), TeXtyl, TIFF, TPIC, XBM (X11
Bitmap), XPM (X11 Pixmap), and TK (tcl/tk). Fig2dev can be
configured with a subset of these drivers.
This port provides the PostScript Type 1 version of Adobe Utopia for use
with GNU Troff, as it is configured in a FreeBSD basic install.
For details on usage, invoke: man utopia_font.
TTF2PT1 is a modification of Andrew Weeks TTF2PFA True Type to Postscript
Type 3 converter. Which will convert Most True Type Fonts to and Adobe
Type 1 .pfa file. The files produced are in human readable form, which
further needs to be encrypted with the t1utilities, to work with most
software requiring type 1 fonts.
XmBibTeX is a Motif (LessTif) reference manager based on the BibTeX
file format. It allows to add, delete, and edit references. The
references can be saved in the BibTeX file format and also written on
a LaTeX file that can be printed using LaTeX and BibTeX. References
can be retrieved by several search strategies. Import of references
from the Medline and Inspec file format is included. However, I found
that the Medline file format is not unique. Up to now, there are
import filters available for the "Ovid Medline", the "PubMed Medline"
and for the "Spirs Medline" format. It would be nice if some people
could write additional import filters for other file formats.
TTFQuery builds on the FontTools package to allow the Python programmer to
accomplish a number of tasks:
* query the system to find installed fonts
* retrieve metadata about any TTF font file (even those not yet installed)
o abstract family type
o proper font name
o glyph outlines
* build simple metadata registries for run-time font matching
YaTeX automates typesetting and previewing of LaTeX and enables
completing input of LaTeX mark-up command such as `\begin{}'..`\end{}'.
YaTeX also supports Demacs which runs on MS-DOS(386), Mule (Multi
Language Enhancement to GNU Emacs), and latex on DOS.
Yahtml is a brand new package for writing HTML files with Emacs. It is
very far from html-mode, html-helper-mode or other existing HTML modes.
It is a good successor of YaTeX in HTML world.
TrueType to Type42 font converter
The LCDF Typetools package contains several programs for manipulating
PostScript Type 1, Type 1 multiple master, and PostScript-flavored OpenType
fonts.
This is a X11 implementation of Fabrice Popineau's pdfclose/
pdfopen commands to control Acrobat Reader, xpdf and evince.
