Using information which a SHOUTcast server can optionally send, this program breaks an audio stream into "tracks," stores them in separate files as they arrive, and names the files by appending ".mp3" to the name of the track. The tracks can be listened to at the user's leisure with an MPEG Layer 3 audio player.

Audio Tag Tool is a program to manage the information fields in MP3 and Ogg Vorbis files, commonly called tags. Tclmidi is language designed for creating and editing standard MIDI files. With the proper device interface it will also play and record MIDI files. Since tclmidi is a language supporting function calls, recursion and conditionals, you can use these features for editing, sequencing and writing complex scripts. The brave might even want to try their hand at algorithmic composition.
