Tetradraw is a fully featured ANSI art editor for Unix operating systems.
ANSI art is only made up of the ASCII characters with 16 colours. ANSI art is
mainly used in text mode interfaces. Tetradraw is the first completly usable
ANSI art editor for Unix operating systems. Tetradraw does not just emulate
the ANSI editors for DOS: it also allows two artists to edit the same image
simultaneously over the Internet.
Full screen text editor
TextRoom and all other similar editors share one goal: to get you
writing right away by providing distraction free environment to
your liking, as well as familiar set of keyboard shortcuts to control
its behavior. If you don't feel comfortable already with your editor
of choice, you may find it useful.
Structured document editor, offering a graphical WYSIWYG interface
Thot offers the usual functionality of a word processor, but it also
processes the document structure. It includes a large set of advanced
tools, such as a spell checker and an index generator, and it allows to
export documents to common formats like HTML and LaTeX.
This release should be considered as a snapshot of a work in progress. A
large part of the intended features of Thot Editor are implemented, but
some of them are not complete yet and the software is not supposed to be very
robust. The user interface may change and can be improved.

Tree widget for Emacs
The tree-widget library provide a tree widget useful for Emacs to
display data structures organized in a hierarchical order.
Windows XP (TM) enhanced Notepad clone written in Tcl/Tk
Apart from all the features Notepad has, tpad adds
plugins to invoke some common text utilities without
leaving the editor, an Ascii table, a tip database
and support for regexps. It also is fully configurable.
The executable `tpad' is a wish(1) shell script.
Efficient hex editor
Tweak is a hex editor. It allows you to edit a file at very low level,
letting you see the full and exact binary contents of the file. It can be
useful for modifying binary files such as executables, editing disk or
CD images, debugging programs that generate binary file formats incorrectly,
and many other things.
Vi clone inspired by the userfriendly comic strip
In a recent fit of madness, hacker Joel Holveck has released Vigor, a version
of the popular Unix editor vi featuring the Vigor Assistant. Holveck declined
to comment on his true motives for creating the program, although it has been
confirmed that he was inspired by Pitr of User Friendly the Comic Strip.
Holveck denies rumors that he created the program as part of a plot to
encourage the use of Emacs.
