This package allows you to install the compat10x libraries on your
system, so you can use legacy binaries that depend on them.
Ports usage example:
--
.include <bsd.port.pre.mk>
.if ${OSVERSION} >= 1100000
LIB_DEPENDS+= libelf.so.1:misc/compat10x

"xtail" watches the growth of files. It's like running a "tail -f"
on a bunch of files at once.
You can specify both filenames and directories on the command line.
If you specify a directory, it watches all the files in that
directory. It will notice when new files are created (and start
watching them) or when old files are deleted (and stop watching
them).
This program is an oldie but goodie. It was posted to comp.sources.misc
in July 1989 (see ftp.uu.net:/usenet/comp.sources.misc/volume7/xtail.Z).
I remember posting an even earlier version to alt.sources. It has
been published in the O'Reilly & Associates "Unix Power Tools"
collection (book and CD-ROM). Over the years, some fly-by-night
organizations (such as the MIT X Consortium and SGI) have tried to
steal the "xtail" name. Don't be fooled! Insist on the original.
ipfcount reads ipf(8) logs and extracts the following fields:
iface group rule action shost sport dhost dport proto flags type dir
You can then print lists like 'top <n> blocked ports', 'top <n> blocked hosts',
or 'incoming connections sorted by interface and protocol'.
For more sophisticated lists, you can filter the entries using Perl expressions.
ipfwcount reads ipfw(8) logs and extracts the following fields:

You can then print lists like 'top <n> blocked ports', 'top <n> blocked hosts',
or 'incoming connections sorted by interface and protocol'.

Mtx(1) is a set of low level driver programs to control features of SCSI
backup related devices such as autoloaders, tape changers, mediajukeboxes,
and tape drives. It can also report much data, including serial numbers,
maximum block sizes, and TapeAlert(tm) messages that most modern tape
drives implement, as well as do raw SCSI READ and WRITE commands to
tape drives.
It works like chio(1) but supports more features and drives and runs in
users land. There are some amanda (misc/amanda24-server) scripts, which
depend on mtx.
This module implements various functions needed for making a ZConf backed mail
cleint. It also currently includes two small utilities, listed below.
zcgetmail - A getmail replacement using ZConf::Mail.
zcmailaccount - Manages the accounts.
