This software allows you to retrieve information from CD-ROM in EPWING format or EB. Please consult the documentation in /usr/local/share/doc/cdrom2 to find out how to use this program. Note: The documentation is available only in Japanese, and the program only gives you Japanese help message.

This kit is for making virtual font using in dvi2ps, dvipsk or dvi2dvi. This port provides virtual fonts with tartget of following 4 targets(n2a, a2n, a2bk, p2pn): n2a virtual font for transform from dvi file of NTT JTeX to ASCII Japanese TeX. a2n virtual font for transform from dvi file of ASCII Japanese TeX to NTT JTeX. a2bk virtual font for transform from dvi file of ASCII Japanese TeX to dvi file using printer-builtin mono space Kanji fonts. p2pn virtual font for transform from dvi file of pTeX to NTT JTeX. If you make use of Japanese "Takegaki" style in pTeX or pLaTeX2e, you must be installed this port before installing dvi2ps.

Yet another Canna client YC is a Japanese input method on Emacs/XEmacs. YC is written in emacs lisp and can access to Canna server directly. YC works well even if your Emacs does not support Canna.

Less is a program similar to more(1), but which allows backward movement in the file as well as forward movement. Also, less does not have to read the entire input file before starting, so with large input files it starts up faster than text editors like vi(1). SKK (Simple Kana to Kanji conversion program) is a very fast and efficient Japanese input method system, written in emacs-lisp. SKK runs on Emacsen with Mule features. This input-method toggle key-binding is C-x C-j. And tutorial mode key-binding is C-x t.

Namazu is a search engine software intended for easy use. Not only it works as a CGI program for the small or medium scale WWW search engine, but also works as a personal use such as search system for local HDDs. Currently, search clients for Mule, Tcl/Tk, JAVA and Win32 are available. (The Japanese word `Namazu' means `catfish' in English)
