This module converts Japanese text in UTF-8 (or romaji in ascii) to
number, AND vice versa. Though this pod is in English and all examples are
in romaji to make http://search.cpan.org/ happy, this module does accept

DO NOT BE CONFUSED WITH Lingua::JA::Number by Mike Schilli. This module is
far more comprehensive. As of 0.03, it even does its to_string() upon
request.

Japanese - English Dictionary for Life Science (EPWING V1 format)
This Japanese <--> English dictionary for Life Science was produced by
Lsd Project. This file is converted from the original dictionary
into JIS X 4081 format (that is a subset of EPWING V1) by
FreePWING. So these can be used by EPWING viewers on Unix and the
other OS (e.g. Windows or MacOS).

The "meta-port" for the SKK Japanese-input software
SKK (Simple Kana Kanji Convertor) is a very fast and efficient Japanese input
method system, written in emacs-lisp. SKK runs on NEmacs (Japanized Emacs18),
Mule (MULtilingual Emacs), and Demacs (DOS version of Emacs18/NEmacs).
This package does not contain anything by itself -- it is a "meta-port"
that depends on other SKK packages (skkserv, skk-elisp, skk-jisyo,
and skk-tools). Its sole purpose is to require dependencies so users can
install this package only and have all the SKK stuff pulled in by the
port/package dependency mechanism.
