Display runs a specified command over and over, printing the output
through curses(3X). The command can be compound and the delay
between executions is settable on the command line. The output
from the command had better fit on a single screen, of course.
This can conflict with the application of the same name from the
graphics/ImageMagick port/package.
GGV, the Gnome GhostView, is a Gnome PostScript document previewer.
It can also preview PDFs, but as it is not a native PDF viewer, it
does not take advantage of all the features of the PDF format.
graphics/gpdf is a more capable PDF viewer.
SciPy is an open source library of scientific tools for Python. SciPy
supplements the popular Numpy module, gathering a variety of high level
science and engineering modules together as a single package.
SciPy includes modules for graphics and plotting, optimization, integration,
special functions, signal and image processing, genetic algorithms, ODE
solvers, and others.
This port provides a program that loads the microcode firmware onto Sun
Microsystems AFB Graphics Accelerators aka Sun Microsystems Elite 3D
found in many UltraSPARC systems. The microcode is necessary if you want
to run X.Org with acceleration on these cards and is also included in this
port.

Nuvola SVG evolution of SKY icon theme.
NUVOLA is an SVG based icon theme. This mean that all icons where
designed with a vector graphics software and then exported to SVG.
Icons of the KDE version of Nuvola are PNG images (unscalable).
SVG files are available (not always updated) on my web site in the
"svg" section.
The `nvidia-settings` utility is a tool for configuring the NVIDIA
XFree86/X.org graphics driver. It operates by communicating with the NVIDIA
X driver, querying and updating state as appropriate. This
communication is done with the NV-CONTROL X extension.
Values such as brightness and gamma, XVideo attributes, temperature,
and OpenGL settings can be queried and configured via nvidia-settings.
Qt is a cross-platform application and UI framework for developers
using C++ or QML, a CSS/JavaScript-like language.
This port provides the OpenGL graphics backend, which is used for
on-screen widgets and QPixmaps. See for details:

This package contains HTML documentation for the Root framework.
The installed package is 110 MB large.
ROOT stand for "<R>OOTs <O>bject-<O>riented <T>echnologies" - it is an object
oriented data analysis framework written in C++. ROOT has its origin at the
Centre Europeenne pour la Recherche Nucleaire (CERN) and is a cross platform
tool well-known to high energy physicists, but it's also used in a wide range
of other data analysis applications. The system consists of the C/C++
interpreter CINT (for interactive development and rapid prototyping) and
hundreds of classes, which provides functionalities u.a. for:
- Data Histogram and Minimization Operations
- Linear Algebra, Matrix and Vector Operations
- Tree, Ntuple and other Data Containers/Structures
- 2D Graphics, 3D Graphics and Detector Geometry Modeling
- Graphical User Interface
- Operating System and Networking Interface
- Inline Documentation and PostScript Interface
- PROOF Server (parallel computing)
This is yet another ANSI/Turbo Pascal to C/C++ converter together
with BGI graphics library emulation for X Window System.
Converter recognizes Pascal dialects which are compatible with
Turbo Pascal 4.0/5.0 and ISO Pascal standard - IEC 7185:1990(E)
(including conformant arrays). Now it is tuned for Oregon Pascal-2
V2.1 which has few extensions to standard Pascal.
Converter can produce both C++ and C output.
Now PTOC recognizes Turbo Pascal's extensions, such as units,
strings, some special types and operations. Turbo Pascal
extensions are supported only for C++ language.
Also emulation libraries of Borland Graphics Interface (BGI) for
X Window System included in this distribution (BGI emulators can
be also used without converter for C programs using BGI).
