The TeXworks project is an effort to build a simple TeX front-end program
(working environment) that will be available for all today's major desktop
operating systems. It is deliberately modeled after Dick Koch's award-
winning TeXShop for Mac OS X.
TeXworks includes an integrated PDF viewer, based on the Poppler library,
and supports source/preview synchronization. This capability is based on
the "SyncTeX" feature developed by Jerome Laurens, and supported by both
the pdfTeX and XeTeX programs in TeX Live, and other current distributions.
THE is a text editor that uses both command line commands and key bindings
to operate. It is intended to be similar to the VM/CMS System Product
Editor, XEDIT and to Mansfield Software's, KEDIT.
Thot offers the usual functionality of a word processor, but it also
processes the document structure. It includes a large set of advanced
tools, such as a spell checker and an index generator, and it allows to
export documents to common formats like HTML and LaTeX.
This release should be considered as a snapshot of a work in progress. A
large part of the intended features of Thot Editor are implemented, but
some of them are not complete yet and the software is not supposed to be very
robust. The user interface may change and can be improved.

The tree-widget library provide a tree widget useful for Emacs to
display data structures organized in a hierarchical order.
TreeForm Syntax tree drawing software is a Linguistic Syntax/Semantics tree
drawing editor. Designed for graphical n-ary tree drawing. More improvements
to come. Recently added Japanese and Chinese language keyboard support.
Apart from all the features Notepad has, tpad adds
plugins to invoke some common text utilities without
leaving the editor, an Ascii table, a tip database
and support for regexps. It also is fully configurable.
The executable `tpad' is a wish(1) shell script.
Tweak is a hex editor. It allows you to edit a file at very low level,
letting you see the full and exact binary contents of the file. It can be
useful for modifying binary files such as executables, editing disk or
CD images, debugging programs that generate binary file formats incorrectly,
and many other things.
MicroEMACS is a tool for creating and changing documents,
programs, and other text files. It is both relatively easy for the
novice to use, but also very powerful in the hands of an expert.
MicroEMACS can be extensively customized for the needs of the individual
user.
MicroEMACS allows several files to be edited at the same time.
The screen can be split into different windows and screens, and text may
be moved freely from one window on any screen to the next. Depending on
the type of file being edited, MicroEMACS can change how it behaves to
make editing simple. Editing standard text files, program files and
word processing documents are all possible at the same time.
There are extensive capabilities to make word processing and
editing easier. These include commands for string searching and
replacing, paragraph reformatting and deleting, automatic word wrapping,
word move and deletes, easy case controlling, and automatic word counts.
