The ipsumdump program summarizes TCP/IP dump files into a self-describing
ASCII format easily readable by humans and programs.
Ipsumdump can read packets from network interfaces, from tcpdump files, and
from existing ipsumdump files. It will transparently uncompress tcpdump or
ipsumdump files when necessary. It can randomly sample traffic, filter
traffic based on its contents, anonymize IP addresses, and sort packets from
multiple dumps by timestamp. Also, it can optionally create a tcpdump file
containing actual packet data.
hachoir-metadata is tool to extract metadata from multimedia files
(sound, video, archives, etc.)
* Support invalid / truncated files
* Unicode compliant (charset ISO-8859-XX, UTF-8, UTF-16), convert
string to your terminal charset
* Remove duplicate values (and if a string is a substring of another,
just keep the longest one)
* Set priority to value, so it's possible to filter metadata (option
--level)
* Only depends on hachoir-parser (and not on libmatroska, libmpeg2,
libvorbis, etc.)
Text-Ngram
n-Gram analysis is a field in textual analysis which uses sliding
window character sequences in order to aid topic analysis, language
determination and so on. The n-gram spectrum of a document can be
used to compare and filter documents in multiple languages, prepare
word prediction networks, and perform spelling correction.
This module provides an efficient XS-based implementation of n-gram
spectrum analysis.
A TACACS+ server that allows authorization and authentication via net
on remote access servers: Authenticate users, authorize commands and log
accounting information.
Version 4 has improved features and bugfixes over the older 2.x versions.
Improved features among others and bugfixes: Microsoft CHAP support.
To enable MSCHAP you need to optain a key from Microsoft, see the FAQ
section in the users guide. Therefore this isn't enabled by default.
Cisco, the original developers, have stopped tac_plus development around
F4.0.4. There are different versions based on Cisco tac_plus, this is the
version from Shrubbery Networks.
The Listen gem listens to file modifications and notifies you about the changes.
Features:
- Works everywhere!
- Supports watching multiple directories from a single listener.
- OS-specific adapters for Mac OS X 10.6+, Linux and Windows.
- Automatic fallback to polling if OS-specific adapter doesn't work.
- Detects files modification, addidation and removal.
- Checksum comparaison for modifications made under the same second.
- Allows supplying regexp-patterns to ignore and filter paths for better
results.
- Tested on all Ruby environments via travis-ci.
This module implements several resizing algorithms with a focus on low
overhead, speed and minimal features. Algorithms available are:
GD's copyResampled (floating-point)
GD's copyResampled fixed-point (useful on embedded devices/NAS devices)
GraphicsMagick's assortment of resize filters (floating-point)
GraphicsMagick's Triangle filter in fixed-point
Supported image formats include JPEG, GIF, PNG, and BMP for input, and
JPEG and PNG for output.
LFT, short for Layer Four Traceroute, is a sort of 'traceroute' that often
works much faster (than the commonly-used Van Jacobson method) and goes through
many configurations of packet-filter based firewalls. More importantly, LFT
implements numerous other features including AS number lookups, loose source
routing, netblock name lookups, et al. Though LFT has been around since 1998,
its development effort has just recently resumed.

ngrep strives to provide most of GNU grep's common features, applying
them to the network layer.
ngrep a pcap-aware tool that will allow you to specify extended
regular expressions to match against data payloads of packets. It
currently recognizes TCP, UDP, and ICMP across Ethernet, PPP, SLIP,
FDDI, Token Ring and null interfaces, and understands BPF filter
logic in the same fashion as more common packet sniffing tools,
like tcpdump and snoop.
sngrep - SIP Messages flow viewer
sngrep is a terminal tool that groups SIP (Session Initiation Protocol)
Messages by Call-Id, and displays them in arrow flows similar to the used in
SIP RFCs. The aim of this tool is to make easier the process of learnig or
debugging SIP. It recognizes UDP, TCP and partially TLS SIP packets and
understands bpf filter logic in the same way ngrep and tcpdump does.
This software is a filter program used with Common UNIX Printing
System (CUPS) from the Linux. This can supply the high quality print
with Seiko Epson Color Ink Jet Printers.
This product supports only EPSON ESC/P-R printers. This package can be
used for all EPSON ESC/P-R printers.
