Emacs Speaks Statistics (ESS) is an add-on package for emacs text
editors such as GNU Emacs and XEmacs. It is designed to support editing
of scripts and interaction with various statistical analysis programs
such as R, S-Plus, SAS, Stata and JAGS.
A tool that "multiply imputes" missing data in a single cross-section
(such as a survey), from a time series (like variables collected for
each year in a country), or from a time-series-cross-sectional data set
(such as collected by years for each of several countries).
Adjunctions and representable functors.
Distributive functors -- Dual to Traversable.
Pointed and copointed data.
Provides a wide array of semigroupoids and operations for working with
semigroupoids. A Semigroupoid is a Category without the requirement of
identity arrows for every object in the category.
In mathematics, a semigroup is an algebraic structure consisting of a
set together with an associative binary operation. A semigroup
generalizes a monoid in that there might not exist an identity element.
It also (originally) generalized a group (a monoid with all inverses) to
a type where every element did not have to have an inverse, thus the
name semigroup.
