KanjiPad - Japanese Handwriting recognition
KanjiPad is a very simple program for handwriting recognition -
The user draws a character into the box, then requests translation.
The best candidates are displayed along the right hand side of
the window and can be selected for pasting into other programs.
hns, Hyper NIKKI System, is a CGI system for EDI (Electric Diary
Interchange).
hns has the following features:

im-ja is a Japanese input module for GTK2.
Currently supported input modes are: hiragana, katakana, half-width

(based on Kanjipad).
Conversion hotkeys, status window, preedit text colors, etc. can be
customized through a GUI. An optional applet is also included for the
gnome-panel which can be used to display and change the input method.
jlisting.sty enhances lstlisting environment provided by listings.sty for
handling Japanese text.
Use this package with listings.sty as:

Kdrill is a program to quiz folks on

{ Kanji } <-> { Kanji }
{ Kana } { Kana }
It will quiz you on either the whole dictionary [around 6000 Kanji?]
or specific Kanji, that you hand-pick. There are also other ways to
narrow down which Kanji you are quizzed on.
Kiten is a Japanese reference/learning tool.

lynx is a program which allows a user to access World-Wide Web servers
and other information servers. It uses only ascii representation so
that it can be used from ascii-terminals and dial-in lines.
This port installs the development version of lynx with some experimental
configulation options.
