VARKON can be used as a traditional CAD-system with drafting, modelling and visualization if you want to but the real power of VARKON is in parametric modelling and CAD applications development. VARKON includes interactive parametric modelling in 2D or 3D but also the unique MBS programming language integrated in the graphical environment. The system was originally developed by a group at the University of Linkoping in Sweden during 1984-86 under the leadership of Dr. Johan Kjellander who was then the president of Microform AB. From 1986 the system was owned, marketed and further developed by Microform AB.

Open CASCADE Technology is a software development platform freely available in open source. It includes components for 3D surface and solid modeling, visualization, data exchange and rapid application development. Open CASCADE Technology can be best applied in development of numerical simulation software including CAD/CAM/CAE, AEC and GIS, as well as PDM applications. BUGS: the interesting parts of this port are the libraries, but some components like Wok are not [yet] fully functional.

TkGate is a event driven digital circuit simulator with a tcl/tk-based graphical editor. TkGate supports a wide range of primitive circuit elements as well as user-defined modules for hierarchical design. The distribution comes with a number of tutorial and example circuits.

Transcalc is an analysis and synthesis tool for calculating the electrical and physical properties of different kinds of RF and microwave transmission lines. Transcalc was somewhat inspired by the functionality of Agilent Technologies' commercial program linecalc. Transcalc aspires to be more functional in the long run and well-documented with appropriate references to formulas that are used. Transcalc is built using the GIMP toolkit (GTK) for its GUI interface. For each type of transmission line, using dialog boxes, you can enter values for the various parameters, and either calculate its electrical properties (analyze), or use the given electrical requirements to synthesize physical parameters of the required transmission line. FreeWnn is a Japanese/Chinese/Korean input method. This port has only libraries for a Chinese imput method. The libraries containes a archive file (libcwnn.a), header files and files which are used to a client. Note that you must set a environment variable CSERVER or TSERVER if you use a client of Wnn.

TaBE stands for `Taiwan and Big5 Encoding'. libtabe provides unified interface and library dealing with Chinese words, phrases, sentences, and phonetic symbols. It is intended to be used as the foundation of Chinese text processing.

aterm is a color vt102 terminal emulator, based on rxvt 2.4.8 with additions for fast transparency. It was created with AfterStep users in mind, but is not tied to any libraries, and can be used anywhere.
