g2 is an easy to use, portable and powerful 2D graphics library. It provides a comprehensive set of functions for simultaneous generation of graphical output on different types of devices. Presently, the following devices are supported: PostScript, GIF and X11 (xfig is in development). g2 is written in C (ANSI) and additionally has a Fortran interface.

Spencer Thomas said about the original TCL GD: Thomas Boutell's Gd package provides a convenient way to generate PNG images with a C program. If you, like me, prefer Tcl for CGI applications, you'll want my TCL GD extension. The software is now maintained by John Ellson <ellson@lucent.com>, it seems.

GEGL (Generic Graphics Library) is a graph based image processing framework. GEGL provides infrastructure to do demand based cached non destructive image editing on larger than RAM buffers. Through babl it provides support for a wide range of color models and pixel storage formats for input and output.

The goal of the OpenGL Extension Wrangler Library (GLEW) is to assist C/C++ OpenGL developers with two tedious tasks: initializing and using extensions and writing portable applications. GLEW provides an efficient run-time mechanism to determine whether a certain extension is supported by the driver or not. OpenGL core and extension functionality is exposed via a single header file.

epstool - Create or extract preview bitmaps in EPS files. Features: - Add EPSI or DOS EPS previews. - Extract postscript from DOS EPS files. - Uses Ghostscript to create preview bitmaps. - Scan a bitmap created by Ghostscript to find bounding box. - Create TIFF or Interchange from part of a bitmap created by Ghostscript.

feh is a versatile and fast image viewer using imlib2, the premier image file handling library. feh has many features, from simple single file viewing, to multiple file modes using a slideshow or multiple windows. feh supports the creation of montages as index prints with many user-configurable options.

GLFW is a free, Open Source, multi-platform library for OpenGL application development that provides a powerful API for handling operating system specific tasks such as opening an OpenGL window, reading keyboard, mouse, joystick and time input, creating threads, and more.

A simple graphics library, designed to give the programmer access to most interesting parts of the Win32 Graphics Device Interface and X11 library without exposing the programmer to the pain and anguish usually associated with using these interfaces. The library also includes a module Graphics.SOE providing the interface used in "The Haskell School of Expression", by Paul Hudak.

jpg2pdf is a program to convert one or more JPG images into a single PDF or PostScript file. Compared to other similar programs, the main advantage of jpg2pdf is that it is very small, fast and entirely written in C. It works by simply wrapping the JPG data with appropriate PDF or PS glue so there is no image conversion involved.

Kludge3d is a simple 3d editor, in the spirit of Worldcraft or Milkshape. It is the offspring of several other (presumably abandoned) GTK-based editors, with the best features taken from each. As the name implies, kludge3d is exactly that - a kludge.
