Jhead is a command line driven program for manipulating the non-image parts of
Exif flavour JPEG files that most digital cameras produce.
It has the following features:
- Extracting camera settings from Exif image files
- Able to set and/or adjust the Exif time field
- Manipulation (extract, replace, regenerate) of Exif integral thumbnails
- Transplant Exif image header from one JPEG to another
- Edit JPEG comment fields
- Automatically rotate images upright (using jpegtran) according to
"orientation" tag.
- Manage running programs on large batches of Jpegs and restoring Exif header
information afterwards.
- Display embedded GPS info (if present)
Patch is a spline based 3D modeling tool. It allows to create 3D models which
can be rendered with POV-Ray or RenderMan compatible renderers (e.g. Aqsis).
jpeginfo is used to generate informative listings of jpeg
files, and also to check jpeg files for errors. Program
also supports automatic deletion of broken jpegs.
Libkface is a KDE C++ wrapper for libface which provides face recognition
and detection in pictures.
jpg2pdf is a program to convert one or more JPG images into a
single PDF or PostScript file.
Compared to other similar programs, the main advantage of jpg2pdf
is that it is very small, fast and entirely written in C.
It works by simply wrapping the JPG data with appropriate PDF or PS
glue so there is no image conversion involved.
KLatexFormula is a Qt 4 program to easily get an image from a LaTeX
formula. Just enter a formula, click "Evaluate", then you can
drag & drop or copy the resulting image to another location (an
OpenOffice document, for example) or save it as an image (many
formats are available).
"jpgtn" is based on "tnpic" by Russell Marks and on "gtnpic" by Willie
Daniel. "tnpic" was originally distributed as a utility with Marks' "zgv"
program. "gtnpic" was an attempt to clean up and expand upon the original
tnpic program and "maybe add some new features along the way." Jpgtn
differs from both "tnpic" and "gtnpic" in purpose. It is *not* an indexer
of image files. It simply creates thumbnails of images stored in JPEG
format.
Kludge3d is a simple 3d editor, in the spirit of Worldcraft or Milkshape.
It is the offspring of several other (presumably abandoned) GTK-based editors,
with the best features taken from each. As the name implies, kludge3d is
exactly that - a kludge.
