XBalloon is a simple demonstration program for X. Balloons move on root window. You can use a faborite pixmap as balloons.

This package contains X.Org shared libraries, headers, and related files.

xpyb provides a Python binding to the X Window System protocol via libxcb.

XScreenSaver.App is a simple WindowMaker dockapp that allows you to lock your screen (using XScreenSaver by default) with a single left-click of the mouse. The dockapp also allows you to configure XScreenSaver by right-clicking on the app. The left- and right-click behaviors are configurable, so this app can work with applications other than XScreenSaver.

The xcb-util module provides a number of libraries which sit on top of libxcb, the core X protocol library, and some of the extension libraries. These experimental libraries provide convenience functions and interfaces which make the raw X protocol more usable. Some of the libraries also provide client-side code which is not strictly part of the X protocol but which have traditionally been provided by Xlib. These libraries are currently included, roughly ordered by maturity: aux: Convenient access to connection setup and some core requests. atom: Standard core X atom constants and atom caching. property: Callback X property-change handling. event: Callback X event handling.

Eagle Mode is an advanced solution for a futuristic style of man-machine communication, in which the user can visit almost everything simply by zooming in. By featuring a separate popup-zoomed control view, help texts in the things they are describing, editable bookmarks, multiple input methods, fast anti-aliased graphics, a virtually unlimited depth of panel tree, and by its portable C++ API, Eagle Mode aims to be a cutting edge of zoomable user interfaces.

This provides session management for the cinnamon desktop, and provides the tools used to start the desktop.

Cinnamon is a Linux desktop which provides advanced innovative features and a traditional user experience. The desktop layout is similar to Gnome 2. The underlying technology is forked from Gnome Shell. The emphasis is put on making users feel at home and providing them with an easy to use and comfortable desktop experience.

xcut is a small but useful program which can take standard input and store it in the X cut buffer, and also work in reverse by writing the X cut buffer onto standard output.
