Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars, or a telescope. It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go. This is legacy version based on Qt 4. For the latest Qt 5 based one please install `astro/stellarium' port instead.

StarPlot allows you to view three-dimensional perspective charts of stars. Check the Web site to get more star data sets.

It provides four packages: * tclgeomap - library written in C adds commands for basic geography calculations and data access. * tclgeomap_procs - library written in Tcl adds procedures that supplement tclgeomap. * tkgeomap - library written in C that adds the ability to draw maps * tkgeomap_procs - library written in Tcl adds procedures that supplement tkgeomap. This port contains the Tcl part.

aTunes is a full-featured audio player and manager, developed in Java. Currently plays mp3, ogg, wma, wav, flac, mp4 and radio streaming, allowing users to easily edit tags, organize music and rip Audio CDs.

The mpg123 reads one or more files (or standard input if ``-'' is specified) or URLs and plays them on the audio device (default) or outputs them to stdout. file/URL is assumed to be an MPEG-1/2 audio bit stream.

FAAC (Freeware Advanced Audio Coder) is an MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AAC Audio encoder. FAAC currently supports MPEG-4 LTP, MAIN and LOW COMPLEXITY object types and MAIN and LOW MPEG-2 object types. It also supports multichannel and gapless encoding.
